Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Small cottage by the lake

A small cottage on the shore of Höytiäinen. Electricity is, no mains. We will supply you with drinking water in a canister. Spreadable sofa bed and lavender, beds for 4. You'll find a small kitchen equipment. Sup boards and kayaks are free to use. Possible to rent a rowing boat for an additional price. Plenty of 30 e with lake water. Outdoor. On the beach, a barbecue area and open shared use freely. Bed linens and towel are included. Also ask for a guided island/fishing tour and equipment.

Kukkupuu - Lakeside cabin only for summer

A typical Finnish summer hut with a large panoramic window to the lake. Cozy but simple amenities. Small kitchen and electricity available. Two superimposed sleeping bunks with mattresses for up to 4 people each and an extra bed in the lower bedroom. On the grounds there is also a private guest cabin, where 2 people can comfortably stay. Outside eco toilet. The cabin has its own sauna with wood fires, a fireplace inside and one outside on the terrace.

This is a wonderful home that has a great location in the city center, but yet peacefully next to the park and the river. The nearest grocery shop is just about 300 m away, University 1,3 km and train station 1,6 km away. There is free parking outside the house.
