Monthly Rentals in Lionville

This was our second stay at Kathleen's while visiting family in the area and we are already looking forward to booking again next year! The space is so clean, comfortable, and private despite being just above their detached garage. We haven't needed to use the kitchen either visit, but it appears to be stocked with the essentials. The Keurig coffee, tea, refrigerated water and welcome treat have all been greatly appreciated. We had our very mobile toddler with us and the stairs to the main living/sleep space had us nervous, but Kathleen was kind enough to provide a pressure mounted baby gate (took a little rigging because the baseboards at the top of the steps prevented a level wall surface for mounting). The space is otherwise fairly childproof, but extra vigilance is required with the stairs with little ones. We highly recommend Kathleen's space for trips to the Downingtown area!!

The Silk Purse is the perfect little getaway for a quick weekend. My girlfriend and I love the area and are so glad we found this location. the house is nicely laid out and cozy. It's also perfectly placed on a beautiful windy road if you like to feel the rolling hills.

This was my second time staying here, and it is one of my favorites! The house is beautiful and charming, and had everything we needed for a cozy weekend. Great kitchen for preparing meals, plenty of space for dining and the bedrooms were exactly what our group of 5 needed.

Instructions and the information booklet were spot-on and so helpful. The home is in a quiet area and only 10 minutes from where our daughter and her family live so it was super convenient for us. It was lovely driving into Downingtown each day watching spring awakening. We even saw a bald Eagle one morning near the creek as we drove! The house was immaculate and so comfortable! The fire was a delight to look at and provided extra heat when it was chilly. Veronica was a warm and welcoming host. This home will be a go-to on our regular trips to Downingtown - if it’s available! 🙂
