Still, it is easy to reach many nice destinations in the neighbouring country of Holland as well as in the Westfalian area around Münster with its countless castles and its beautiful landscape.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Nestled in the idyll of the Aldruper Heide, you will find peace and quiet to unwind. Thanks to a well-developed network of bike paths, you can easily explore Münster (15 km) and the surrounding area.

The historic market square with its extensive gastronomy is only 50 m away, the train station 300 m and the university of applied sciences is just 500 m away through the pedestrian tunnel.
