Paradise Found, Modern Dream Home on Ashley Lake

Beautiful, serene house on the most beautiful lake! It was spacious yet comfortable for family time and personal time.
A spacious luxury retreat is framed by tall evergreen trees, with a sloped shingle roof and rich wooden exterior. The driveway leads to a welcoming entrance, while expansive windows reflect the surrounding natural beauty and mountainous backdrop.

Loved it! The caretakers/homeowners were available in a separate building, but honestly, I never needed them. Other than checking the hot tub chemicals and levels, I never even saw them. I enjoyed the staff-recommended side trips—hiking, kayaking, mountain biking—and access to nearby towns for eating, drinking, and music spots. Great picnic recommendations were provided, complete with a picnic basket; mountain bikes/single seat provided at no extra cost! I needed banking and a haircut and found the right places easily. 45 miles to Whitefish, but way quieter and cheaper. I loved the massage, as well as the infrared sauna and hot tub in the relaxing spa building. I was delighted by the downstairs games room and wine cellar. Whether solo or with family, there is plenty for everyone. Highly recommend for anyone.

Bitterroot Bungalow on Little Bitterroot Lake!

MikeRating, 5 stars22 months ago
This place is beautiful and beats the traffic and congestion of Flathead Lake hands down. If you need a big place to stay as a home base for your travel with family and children, to use a Flathead valley pun, this is your "huckleberry". It's only 30 minutes from Kalispell and maybe 45 minutes to West Glacier where all the guide services are for all things Glacier National Park. The Bison Range is only a couple hours drive through the most incredible scenery. Little Bitterroot Lake is about as peaceful as it gets and we spent a lot of time swimming and paddling right off the dock. We met some of the neighbors, both permanent and some vacationers, and they were super nice. The permanent residents are definitely thankful when quiet rules are followed so don't bring your frat house out here. This is a family spot.
A wooden deck is shown with a railing overlooking a green expanse. Tall evergreen trees are visible in the background under a clear blue sky, complemented by a few scattered clouds. A mug is partially in frame, suggesting a serene outdoor setting.
