Beachfront vacation rentals in Lincoln County

Friendship Long Island is a very special place, we loved hiking the trails and checking out the small beaches and coves. Odette was very helpful and a warm host. Hope to come back soon!

Small family group with baby and dog could not have been happier with this old time camp located right on the water in a beautiful cove with a sandy beach. Hosts provided high quality kayaks, canoe, paddle board and paddle boat and a vast array of children's toys and various tubes and floats. House accommodations were comfortable and clean with excellent kitchen supplies , towels and basically everything you might want in a vacation home. We had a beautiful week with endless kayaking, swimming and relaxing with our own family of loons right outside the windows of the camp. MAGICAL !!!

We absolutely loved staying at this house! The views each morning waking up to sunrise were spectacular. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck, watching the lobster boats and wildlife. The house was comfortable, with a semi-open concept and cozy cabin vibes. I’m a writer, so I really enjoyed being able to spend the mornings working on my novel while watching the tides rise and fall between the islands. The nights were peaceful and beautiful as well, and we loved being able to gather around the fireplace and enjoy the moonlight on the ocean. We would definitely return to Charlie’s place to stay again!

We really loved this beautiful house! It had a great view of the bay from several rooms. The house is big, clean, beautifully and comfortably decorated, and has ample sleeping, relaxing, and playing areas. Our kiddos enjoyed the place very much as well. A beautiful hiking trail is just in a walking distance. Hannaford supermarket and many good restaurants are just 12-15 minutes away.

This was one of my favorite AirBnB experiences yet. The cottage is amazing from top to bottom. It is well appointed all around and the hosts are so welcoming. Really enjoyed watching the sunset from the dock, such a treat! Thank you again for everything!

This cottage on the Damariscotta is wonderful! The location is outstanding, views around not be better. The cottage was clean, well equipped and charming. Loved being able to walk everywhere in town. Scott was a great host, would highly recommend this cottage!

Host is very responsive and accommodating. I was unaware of how many tents were squeezed into one corner of the campground, glamping tents and pop up summer tents in between. This tent is directly in the middle of a circle of tents surrounding you, yes close to the water but not as close as the picture in the listing. No cars allowed on the “glamping village” but golf carts were being ran at all hours of the night by guests who weren’t staying at the village just looking around. I will also bring up that while sitting on our porch we noted twice that people just walked into the glamping tents that weren’t being occupied and sitting on the porch for some time, and actual guests checked in hours later. I myself wouldn’t be happy if I knew someone was walking all over the place and sitting on the beds/ furniture after it was cleaned by hosts. Overall we did have a good time. Showers were hot, and the camp store was convenient. A $20 deposit is needed for a bathroom key.

We had a great vacation stay at the property. The beds were very comfortable, linens and towels were plentiful and clean, there was also plenty of room to relax inside and out. Our daughters loved fishing off the dock and kayaking. We used the grill that was provided, however it could use a cleaning. We enjoyed the gorgeous lake views with coffee in the morning and fires on the patio under the clear night sky in the evening. The close proximity to Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor made shopping and dining out extremely convenient. Highly recommend this lakefront cottage!

A few times while wandering around midcoast Maine in late March, we were asked if this is when we usually came to vacation here. Yes, we are educators from the Southwest, and this was our spring break, so this is when we came to visit, but honestly, it is so peaceful this time of year. Especially Boothbay Harbor, and what we imagined while walking around the very quiet town would be a very different place in July! Our experience at Abby’s space was absolutely wonderful and serene in the spring. The thoughtful touches (thank you for the bottle of Maine wine and jar of blueberry jelly!) made it even more special. Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

This charming cottage in a picture-perfect setting will take you back in time to Maine of the 1920’s. You can relax near the water on the dock, sit up on the deck and watch for bald eagles, tuck yourself away in the cozy, sheltered dining area on the porch, or relax by the fire in the living room. We can’t wait to go back!

Could not have picked a better place for 7 of us to spend the week. The surroundings are beautiful, we stargazed every night and fell asleep to the sound of the water. We swam every single day off the rocks in front of the house. Round pond itself is very cute and damariscotta has everything you need. We cannot wait to be back!

Rick and Lenore were great hosts, responded quickly and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our time. The location has a great view and is very tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

A charming one-bedroom apartment in this antique family home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. It is located on Main Street in the center of the friendly village, so you can easily walk to everything. The bathroom is shared with one other apartment, but that is not unusual accommodation on Monhegan Island. Remember to bring your own linens as they are not included.

Great house in an amazing location! The house was spacious and provided amazing views from the many windows. We had such a great time. We rented kayaks and enjoyed exploring the area, seeing so much wildlife. My kids loved exploring the beach, doing puzzles and playing games. Would happily stay at this location again!

The view and grounds here are stunning! And Wendy is a perfect host. This set of cabins is in the most perfect location to enjoy the beauty and peace of Boothbay yet to be in town in 5 minutes. We loved sitting on the private deck that is literally right on the water, and at the boat dock. The use of the double kayak was an added bonus. My only caution is do not plan to bring work with you, cell signal and wifi were a little spotty but if we moved around the property we were able to accomplish what we needed to. Thank you Wendy, we will be returning!

This was exactly what I wanted, quiet, gorgeous, with a screened in porch to watch the water. Everything was as described. Check to make sure you like the location, because it's not super close to anything, but as a person looking for a peaceful spot on the water, this was superb. I'll be staying again.

This place was great for us. It was beautiful and tranquil which is what we we were looking for.

My partner, dog, and I had a nice week hiking around local preserves and enjoying the quiet waterfront neighborhood. The cabin was as described and the hosts gave some helpful with recommendations for local spots to eat and enjoy the beauty of the area. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Glad to have the chance to stay in an authentic Maine cabin!
