Smitten - you will be - Hear Silence.

ElaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The location is magical . Loved waking up and seeing the scenery. The trail was really well maintained given all the snow. We've had a wonderful hike to the pond seeing only nature, not one person on the trail. It was fun stopping and trying to identify all kinds of animal tracks along the path. We are thinking of coming back in the spring or summer. Thank you for muffins Toby and Peter!!!

Raven's Crossing - Kate's Cottage

CaitlinRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. Thanks Lori!

Stella the Studio Apartment

JeremyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stella was fantastic! Exactly what we needed for a night away. the hot tub was clean, the trails were fun to explore, cooked over an open fire (the firewood was so dry, which was impressive considering how wet it's been!). Only thing I would recommend is something covering the end of the bed, we stubbed our toes pretty good on the wood frame. Outside of that, no complaints at all. Definitely plan to come back!

Our third visit to this cozy place by the lake. Simple, yet has everything one needs. We love it. Even saw a loon though wished it had called!

Simply wonderful and wonderfully simple. Katie and Chris’s place is cozy and comfortable, in a beautiful setting, and is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to get away but close to Bath and other sights and services. We highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

CHARMING CABIN: lakefront,nestled in nature,canoe

TylerRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I had a very nice stay at Kim's cottage. It was rustic, quaint and a very peaceful respite from the hectic world. The lake is an amazing setting. When the ocean is cold, the lake is just right. And it comes with a great dock to watch the loons and kayakers go by as you drink a cold Allagash. I would encourage some investment in newer mattresses and sofas, but those are but small annoyances that do not overshadow a lovely stay on Knickerbocker Lake.

Rustic Oceanfront Log Cabin

WilliamRating, 5 stars6 months ago
There are no words to describe the stunning view from this cabin. This listing is exactly as described. A rustic cabin. We had family traveling through the area while we were there and they came by to say hello. They remarked that it’s exactly what you’d imagine a “Maine cabin” to be. We came in mid October & as things in the area were winding down. But had a lot of fun strolling through a nearby town that was hosting a pumpkin festival and regatta. We hope to come back and bring our grandchildren (and maybe even their parents ha!) to this rustic cabin in a picturesque setting.

Classic Maine Cabin, Ocean View over a large field

FernandaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This was our first trip with our 4 month old baby and Gale’s cabin was perfect for us and our dog. The cabin itself is beautiful, clean and let the portable crib ready for us to use. Location and views from the cabin are amazing. I loved waking up in the morning and watching the sunset through the window. I highly recommend Gale’s cabin for your next vacation trip in Maine.

‘Round the Bend Farm - private, modern cabin

EricRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The work Theresa has put into making a beautiful cabin as well as an amazing getaway experience goes above and beyond what other air bnbs offer. The cabin is small and cozy from the outside but feels huge on the inside with all the open space. The lights bring a wonderful night time ambiance for late night conversations. I love the fact there is no TV in the cabin to distract from being present, but there is wifi so you aren't completely disconnected. I honestly hope it rains again at least one of the days when I rebook this cabin because the sound of the rain pattering off the roof was the best way to wake up for a slow Saturday morning. I would also highly recommend taking the time to go walk the well marked blue trails behind the property and make your way over to their farm to see the animals and take a tour. 'Round the bend is a wonderful non-profit and adds to the experience of the stay imo. 10/10 I'll be booking again this year for certain.
An open-concept living space features warm wooden paneling and exposed beams. The kitchen, equipped with essential appliances and wooden cabinetry, seamlessly connects to the cozy seating area with a neutral-colored sofa. A brick chimney with a wood-burning stove serves as a central focal point in the room.

Spacious 1 Bedroom Cottage Close to Everything 2

Cheryl Rating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a great couple of days exploring this area of Maine. It was a great location, central to many of the places we wanted to go. The cabin was clean and cozy and well furnished. Jeff was great at communicating with us and quick to respond. There was quite a bit of road noise that I didn’t expect. However my daughter had stayed there the week before and coming from the city she hadn’t even noticed it. Overall it was a great place to stay!

The peaceful Cabin in the woods

HillelRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This cabin was exactly as described, which is just what I was looking for when I came for a personal retreat day. The area is gorgeous - go check out the Hidden Valley Nature Preserve in Jefferson - Carol's property has lots of walking trails, the bed was comfortable, the grill worked just fine, and the fire pit was invaluable. Two things to be aware of: the cabin itself is kind of dark (remember: no electricity in it) so bring a flashlight or headlamp, and Carol supplies washing water but not drinking water, so bring a few bottles if you want to cook and make tea. For me, this cabin was absolutely ideal and I will definitely keep it in mind next time I need a place quiet enough to hear myself think. 10/10 would recommend.
