Wonderful house. The animals on the property are awesome. Meg was a helpful and friendly host. The place is as pictured and described. Fantastic place for jungle immersion, but be ready for all that entails (some bugs and noises). Cocles is a super lively and fun beach and worth a visit. It’s a better place to stay than directly in Puerto Viejo. The house is up a hill a little bit so transport of sorts is recommended.

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

I liked it, the only thing that felt a little weird was the jacuzzi, because of the water. Everything else was great.

We spent two nights here. Everything was perfect. The accommodation had the necessities and by car it is located close to everything you will need. It was very quiet and the garden was beautiful. We would have liked to stay longer. Thank you again for this stay. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The airbnb was so beautiful ! Orietta was so kind & willing to help with everything. She was very accomidating & responsive. The location is beautiful & felt very safe & comfortable. There were open windows so you could see the wildlife & it felt amazing. Very clean as well!

The place is beautiful, spacious, full of trees and has a ranch to spend a cool and pleasant time. The house is beautiful, with nice rustic finishes, and is well-equipped. Luis always answers questions. I would definitely go back.

Lori´s place is simply extraordinary. We have been a bit here and there and the house, the views, the space and the location (particularly how it is immersed in nature) makes this place the best. Beautiful home. Dawn, the host and owner, lives downstairs and she was incredibly kind and helpful. Pictures don’t do the home justice - it’s stunning - with an incredible yard. Used the pool and meditation deck daily, both of which were amazing.

I spent my mornings watching monkeys play in the trees just steps from the living room, and the sounds of nature made every moment feel magical. The design is thoughtful and stylish, yet it maintains a deep connection with its natural surroundings. It’s a rare and unique experience that blends comfort, beauty, and the wild spirit of the jungle. I truly didn’t want to leave. Thank you John for creating such a special space — I’ll carry the memories with me for a long time!

We loved the place. Everything was as described. Very clean and organized. We had no issues checking in. The guards were very nice and friendly so we felt very safe. We had an issue with one of the sinks and Iliana took care of it within 20 mimutes. We appreciated her fast response. We were confortable at all times just like home.

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

Marlene's house is just as seen in the photos, everything was impeccable. We really enjoyed the heated pool, the complex's landscaping is beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Good accommodation in a quiet area of Puerto Viejo, 5 minutes by car from downtown. We traveled as a family of 4 and stayed in one of the houses that have a kitchen and bunk bed. Spacious and comfy stay. As it appears in the photos. Cozy common area and very clean pool. The manager Giacomo was very nice and was always attentive. Highly recommended.
