Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Limerick

Absolutely wonderful stay here for the week. Mary was a grand host and always available if we needed anything. This was our base and we easily travelled into Limerick, Galway, cork, Bunratty and neighbouring villages. Would definitely recommend the farm house as a base for your holiday - thank you so much for the fresh eggs and warm welcome Mary and family xx

Great location. Just outside Limerick but right off highway and easy to navigate. Some walkable restaurants were nice. Being in the thick of nature there were a lot of birds nests right across street and vocal at all hours. Walk from car park a little distance but not bad. Family immensely enjoyed the stay and how stocked the kitchen was. Would definitely stay again.

Eve was a great host, checking in to ensure we were content. lovely house, perfect for a relaxing stay away. Ideal for a family staycation.

Incredibly responsive, Angela’s place is great for a family. Kids had plenty of room to spread out, and adults could relax after a busy day in several places. Definitely hoping to come back some day

What a wonderful week! This home in Bunratty is in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the Blarney Woolen shops, and multiple restaurants! We were looking for a home for 3 couples, and finding a 3 bedroom with 3 bathrooms was important to us. This home met all our needs. It has a nice outdoor seating area, and nice spacious table in the dining area. The decor is very welcoming. Caroline checked in with us to see if we had any questions or needs. She came mid week to provide additional towels and tidy up a bit too! That was unexpected and very sweet of her to do. We would highly recommend this home and host!!

We had a wonderful stay at Stormont House. The house is in a beautiful location. Very peaceful but 5 mins walk to shops. Perfect as a base for touring or just a very relaxing break. House is immaculate and very spacious. Hosts helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This unit was exactly as described. We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated Ludwig's accuracy.

Tout était parfait, propre et en bon état. L'alternance de noir et blanc pour la décoration est très sympa. Accès et stationnement faciles Petit souci sur le wifi qui ne fonctionnait pas malgré le nom et le code d'accès. Je recommande particulièrement.

La casa de Donnie está en medio de la naturaleza, un lugar preciso para visitar acantilados de Moher, Limerick, Cork y más, todo estupendo, me sentí muy cómodo y seguro junto a mi esposa y la casa tiene de todo

Nicole begrüßte uns persönlich und gab uns hilfreiche Tipps zur Umgebung, sehr nett. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung, die liebevoll renoviert wurde und sehr sauber war, richtig wohl gefühlt. Es gab ein komfortables Doppelbett mit bequemer Matratze. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kann von 17:30 - 9:30 Uhr kostenlos auf der Strasse parken. Man ist schnell zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum.

We stayed at Mary’s over bank holiday weekend for my mom’s birthday. Mary was super helpful with details and recommendations prior to the visit and even bought a birthday cake for my mom (which was delicious!). The property was wonderful and Mary was the perfect host. We will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone visiting Ireland. Thank you Mary!!

We had a lovely short stay at this peaceful retreat away from it all. The apartment was very clean and decorated in a lovely style. A lot of love has gone into the cottage and the story of the renovation was interesting. We were made very welcome by Adrian and Elaine and especially appreciated the lovely basket of goodies and breakfast. We really enjoyed sitting out in the morning sun and hearing nothing but the birds. It is a short walk from the easy but wonderful Clare Glens walk. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Tullio went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing. He provided all the comforts of home and thought of every last detail, even supplying bread, jams, wine and sweets. He gave recommendations in the area, and all his instructions were clearly outlined in a booklet. I would definitely recommend Tullio’s place!

A perfect place for a couple.

Joe’s accommodation was perfect! Very easy to check in for the stay. The place was spotless and had every facility one could need! Perfect distance to the city with plenty of public transport around. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in limerick

Grainne is the perfect host. Always friendly and helpful. Had a basket of toys in the apartment as she knew my grandson would be visiting. Beautiful grounds where I could push he around on tricycles. Apartment was well stock, clean and as described. Couldn't have had a nicer time. Looking forward to my next trip.

Judith went above and beyond! She allowed me early checkin which was so helpful since I had flown overnight. The accommodation was perfect— a lovely setting, clean, and quiet. Judith gave me directions for the 10 minute walk to the Town Center where there were stores and restaurants. When I inquired about a walk around the estuary that was described in her brochure she gave me a ride to a place where I could start walking. A lovely walk! Further, when I needed to catch the bus upon leaving Judith took me to the stop. I couldn’t have found a more helpful host or more perfect place for my first two nights in Ireland! Judith is definitely a Super Host!

Ann’s home was lovely, clean and oh so homey! Ann thought of everything you could possible need…the flowers were a very sweet touch. Thank you, Ann! We will definitely be back! God bless! PS…Shaw’s didn’t have the duvet cover /sheets!!🥲🤣

Karen was super responsive to questions prior to booking, We came over to Shannon to do Illaunmanagh parkrun, we could walk along the Shannon Loop to get there. Loved that we could walk 1.5miles from the airport to the property (30 mins). As soon as you walk in the property it is bright and feels spacious, modern and clean. Loved the welcoming touches with homemade oat cookies which were very yummy and the butter, milk, water, bread, muesli and porridge. Loved the property had plants in the different areas too. Shower and all amenities worked well. Shannon town centre is walkable with shops and places to eat recommend a visit to Shannon Springs Hotel. Just a short walk away you can catch the 343 bus into Limerick for 11 euro return (cash only). There is also a Lidl within walking distance (1 mile) and pans etc to cook. Smart tv meant we could chill with Netflix in the lovely armchair with the electric fire whilst wrapped in a throw with a view out to the estuary Highly recommend
