We had a lovely stay at ‘De Bergsche Hoeve’! The place was exactly as described and shown in the photos, and everything looked neat upon arrival. You'll notice that a lot of time and effort has been put into making guests feel comfortable. A warm welcome with a red wine on arrival made it extra nice. All facilities worked properly, we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was neat and practical. Communication with the host went smoothly, with quick and clear responses. In addition, we explored the beautiful surroundings and took long walks in the Mariapeel and De Groote Peel. In short, a great place to relax and unwind. Thank you for the good care!

The place was super nice and very comfortable. The contact with Jennie was quick, straightforward and very friendly. For a quiet break, the cottage is the perfect choice! 😊

We had a wonderful stay! The forest cottage is beautifully decorated and was very clean. We chose to burn the hot tub ourselves with wood, which took a little longer than expected (but was very nice to do), then we could enjoy it!

Beautiful log cabin with cozy garden around it. nice that all kinds of basic things were already in the house, a bbq and fun games in the closet. Beautiful base for a day of shopping in the outlet in Roermond. (small fifteen minutes drive) and 5 minutes away "Fun Beach". also very nice. We just had to get used to the number of cameras. I understood in advance that they were only at the entrance and exit, but there are also the seating areas. But had a weekend!

We enjoyed our stay! Laurens is quick to respond so questions were answered quickly too! In the house itself, there is everything you need to have a nice holiday!

We had a great time. Everything you need was present, very thoughtful that there was also a welcome package ready. The cottage is located on a very nice quiet forest park. You walk/bike/mountain bike into nature in no time. Recommended! Astrid is a very nice hostess, who is ready for you if necessary.

It is a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings!

I loved the place! It’s very cozy, super clean and communication was easy. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. One of the tips that Job and Renee left was to eat at Veerhuys Tante Jet, just a 15 minute walk away from the place which was very delicious. Would 100% recommend staying at this place. We had a great time ☺️

Lovely little place for one or two humans. William is very nice and friendly. Pleasant and relaxing place to stay for a week or two.

We had a very nice stay! It is a quiet and cozy place, perfect to relax and unwind. Everything we needed was present and it was clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

Nice cottage in a quiet area. Communication with the host went very smoothly and the arrival was also very flexible with clear instructions about the future. Please note : no shower in the cottage itself (but on the campsite) & you still have to pay a small tourist tax from the campsite.

Tukken op de Tol was perfect for our girlfriend weekend! The cottage is small but cleverly laid out, with everything you need. The kitchen is surprisingly complete for a short stay and dining with golden cutlery gives just that little extra! The bathroom, sleeping areas and the cozy seating area were ideal for the two of us. Unfortunately no outdoor weather, but the amenities were there. The surroundings surprised us: beautiful nature in the Maashorst, even in the rain, and the charming streets of Ravenstein and Grave. Everywhere we were warmly welcomed for a coffee or a bite. The hospitality completed our weekend. We came to rejuvenate, and more than succeeded. Absolutely recommended! Thank you, Nicoline and Erik, for this nice place.

We were very pleased with the chalet. We were in the chalet with two families (4 adults and three children 5, 2). The space was sufficient and for the children there was a lot on site, so that no boredom arose. The connection to the park is great, you can reach a lot by bike. On foot, it is a leisurely walk of about 15 minutes (without the obligatory playground breaks...). Towels and linens were on site and as a frequent vacationer in such parks, the beds of the big Swedes totally convinced me. I've never slept so well on vacation 😅 Otherwise, the equipment was great. I can only recommend it! 😀

In order not to have to share this gem of a home with others, you should actually write a negative review, but.............. I would seriously miss Hans and his home. The house is on the outskirts of a park in the middle of a forest. Among other things, woodpecker, cabbage mine, and robin nest in the garden. The tranquility in the park and the privacy of the plot downright fantastic. The garden is as eclectic as the decor of the house. Outside 3 wonderful places to sit and you discover something new again and again. Inside, the scavenger hunt continues. Certainly no standard decor and maybe not everyone's flavor. In any case, we thought it was very tasteful and every piece of furniture can just tell its own story. We felt very much at home, enjoyed the peace and space. And oh yes, you would almost forget that you can enjoy cycling and hiking nearby! Hans, thank you for your hospitality and the fact that you wanted to share this gem with us!
