Dommelhuis is close to the cross-border cycling network and the Hageven nature park. A perfect base for a varied bike ride, or you can walk in peace on one of the marked routes.

Next to the Racour station is the cottage of the piocheurs or railway workers. In the past, railway workers used this "barracks" to store their equipment, to eat their sandwiches or even to sleep. The 3-meter by 3-meter listed building was completely rebuilt in 2015 in wooden timber and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable hiker's hut for 2 people.
