This guest house is located in the heart of Haspengouw. The Kluis van Vrijhern and the Wijngaerdbos are within walking distance, and various hiking trails pass through them. The house has been recently renovated and equipped with the necessary comfort. Through the terrace, you get access to the garden with a lovely Jacuzzi that you can enjoy for free. The apartment is a 6-minute walk from the station. Grote Markt is only 1 minute walk through the King Albert street. ( the shopping street) We offer free fitness day pass at I fitness in the TT district a 5-min. walk.

Spoorweghut 'Miners' Accommodation'

Next to the Racour station is the cottage of the piocheurs or railway workers. In the past, railway workers used this "barracks" to store their equipment, to eat their sandwiches or even to sleep. The 3-meter by 3-meter listed building was completely rebuilt in 2015 in wooden timber and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable hiker's hut for 2 people. Free bicycles are available to our guests!
