House vacation rentals in L'Île-Rousse

Fantastic stay. The view is absolutely incredible. So much better than it looks in the photos. We watched sunrise and sunset every day. Even when it rains, the house is amazing because of the view. Truly wonderful. Close to town about a 25min walk one way (we walked into the boulangerie each morning). I wished that they’d left small things like trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, etc but we went to the grocery story anyway so it was not an issue. Hosts were really communicative and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend, we enjoyed our stay.

A very nice place, quiet with loads of birds singing. The pool was heated and very nice! Yes, no wifi but 4g works - with a sufficient mobile data contract.

An exceptional stay, an attentive host, a peaceful setting and tastefully decorated accommodation. The exterior is perfectly furnished.

We were with Elisabeth at the beginning of July with two children and enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment itself offers everything you need and the outdoor area is fantastic — super well-kept garden, a large terrace incl. a grill and a great pool with a view. If we weren't out and about in the beautiful area, we were actually always outside. Elisabeth and her husband are great hosts. They welcomed us warmly, were available when we had questions and otherwise left us our privacy. Since our French skills are rather modest, we were also glad that both spoke a little English. We can definitely recommend the place and would come back any time.

Great stay in this place, functional kitchen and very nice rooms! The pool is also very nice. We'll be happy to come back, the exchanges were very cordial with Valentino and we thank him.

We had a great time at the house offered by Anne Charlotte and her husband, The house is peaceful, tastefully decorated and with a magnificent view not overlooked. The heated pool is a pleasure for both children and adults. Our hosts were very warm, attentive and above all very accommodating. We would happily stay again for our next vacation in Calvi. Thank you again for your hospitality and kindness.

Extra space exactly matches the photos. Spacious, functional, very clean, very well equipped... nothing missing!!! The bedding is quality, the large terrace and the courtyard are a plus. The accommodation is very nicely decorated. The owner is extremely responsive, available and accommodating, and very kind. She gave us some great tips for restaurants or walks. It is a well located place to visit Balagne while being in a quiet area. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back with great pleasure!!!

Great stay at Natalie's! It was very hot and the A/C was life-saving! A beautiful little beach within walking distance and the adorable small town of Algajola 10mn drive away. Natalie was very responsive and welcoming. The house is perfect for a small family.

A big thank you to Charles for this stay! The cozy village house is perfectly located in an absolutely beautiful village. Charles is a very friendly and caring host. Small bonus: an excellent restaurant is just down the hill from the house, ideal for enjoying the stay without complicating your life. No complaints, everything was perfect. We'll be happy to go back!

Maud and Laetitia were warm and extremely friendly hosts. The communication worked perfectly and if we had a question, it was answered quickly. The interior design is very tastefully arranged and Laetitia had thought of everything and more when setting it up; even a selection of sun hats. What we liked the most (besides the breathtaking terrace overlooking the sea) was the absolute privacy, the tranquility and of course the direct path down to our own little bathing bay. We had a great time at Carole and Romain's place. The place is as described: clean, comfortable, very good bedding and well-equipped. CATERI is a small mountain village typical of Corsica… change of scenery guaranteed! And at the same time, a strategic location if you want to easily visit the wonderful places of Balagne (close to Calvi, Ile Rousse, Pigna, Corbara, etc.)... hiking lovers will be in heaven. Finally, communication with the hosts was perfect. A very warm welcome from Didier, Carole's dad. It was a real pleasure interacting with him! For all this, a big thank you to them! We would of course recommend this listing, without hesitation ;)

Francesca Maria and Pierre Paul were very attentive. This old accommodation has modern comforts: beautiful bathroom, Wifi repeaters almost in every room, the walls are very thick. Note the garden surrounded by walls with a dining area sheltered from the sun and rain and barbecue. The village itself is exceptional with its pedestrian streets, its views. It is animated by the grocery store/services A Sporta which provides excellent local products, and which knows its customers very well, as well as by the restaurant hotel bar A Pasturella, where you eat like kings. The owner of A Sporta organizes very interesting guided tours of the village. In fact, we only have one idea: to come back!

We had a great time, quiet in this house with sea views from the terrace. The house was clean, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Careful decor. The town of Ile Rousse is a ten-minute drive away. We'll be happy to go back to this house the next time we're in Balagne! Thanks again to Sophie for her flexibility and kindness.

We had a great time in this functional and tastefully decorated house. It has a wonderful view of the port and the sea, a real pleasure from morning to night. Everything is well thought out for the comfort of the guests: cleaning products (laundry, dishwasher tablets), and even some basic grocery products available, which is very nice on arrival. An ideal setting for a relaxing vacation, with the pool and the large terrace.

Wonderful, spacious apartment in old stone house with great terrace in a small, picturesque place something inland located on a slope with great sea views. Check-in uncomplicated, everything clean and great atmosphere in the house.

We had a great week with our daughter. The accommodation is well-equipped, pleasant and spacious for a family. The neighborhood is very quiet. The nearest beaches are 5/10 min by car, easily accessible and convenient to park. We were close to Calvi and Île Rousse, which we were looking for. Our host was easily reachable and responsive. If we have the opportunity, we will return to this accommodation without hesitation. Thank you for this week at Lumio!

Sylvie and Rene were always available and communication was 1 A. Sylvie gave us good tips on restaurants , beaches and beautiful villages. The possibility of variety of different activities could not be better: great beaches, old villages, hiking tours flat on the coast or slightly alpine. The narrow gauge railway to Calvi is also worthwhile. We were happy to stay in the small village of Aregno outside and have an absolutely good bakery and bar right around the corner. The house is quaint and rustically furnished and the terrace overlooking the valley and mountains is of course a highlight.

We loved staying at this little house with a flowery terrace! Life is breathtaking on the mountains of Balagne. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, shower with enough pressure. Hostess Elsa advised us on restaurants and local products to try. We left the place with regret! We also liked the small hamlet of Occiglioni, we met Colette, the artisan who makes leather objects and we went for a beer in the small restaurant on the main square.

We had such a wonderful time at Michèles place in Speluncato. Shes such a lovely person, always helpful and accommodating. The apartment had more than everything we needed to prepare nice meals and have peaceful evenings on the terrace. About the village - its just stunning - the architecture, the people, the bar ;-), the views and so much more. We will come again, thats for sure!
