We had an amazing 1 week stay at this beautiful place. Also the host was so sweet in helping us. She made sure we found the house during night time and got some food for us for breakfast. Also the place was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. This place is just magical with the beautiful sunrise every morning. Also the inside of the house and spots outside the house give a very cozy feeling. We would also definitly recommend to hire the chef-kok for a night. It was one of the highlights of our stay because of the amazing food and their kindness to us. Would love to come here again!

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend!

A little piece of paradise We had an unforgettable stay as a couple in this beautiful apartment in Agia Pelagia. Every morning started with breakfast under the bougainvillea, watching the sunrise over the sea – absolutely magical. Just a few steps and we were swimming in crystal-clear water. Pure bliss! The apartment is stylish, spotless, and well-equipped with all essentials like soap, detergent, and toilet paper. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals comfortably and had all the necessary utensils. A lovely surprise was the thoughtful welcome gift: coffee, wine, fruit, cookies, and water – such a kind gesture. Shops are just minutes away on foot, and everything was super convenient. We truly felt at home and appreciated the care the hosts put into every detail. We’re already dreaming of coming back! Thank you for everything!

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

Iespēja baudīt dabu, vidi un sauli dažādos diennakts laikos, tam iekārtotas omulīgas nojumes un lapenes dažādās vietās dārzā , pie baseina un pie mājas. Maltīti iespējams pagatavot pašiem virtuvē, vai uz dzīvas uguns dārzā. Vēsākam vakaram vai romantikai mājā ir iekurināms kamīns. Ļoti patika, ka ir dabas tuvums, nav pilsētas trokšņu un kņadas, tai pat laikā pilsēta Herakliona sasniedzama vien aptuveni 10-12 minūšu braucienā ar auto. Jutāmies omulīgi, saimnieki atsaucīgi un viesmīlīgi.

The house and the view is amazing. This is a very good place to stay and really recommend this place for a short stay in between Chania and Heraklion. You need a car or a motorbike to go around but besides that a very good place

This home is absolutely perfect for every type of vacation you want. Close enough to Herikalon for a quick transfer to the airport, winery, dinner or boat cruise.(make sure to connect with Manos for the best transfers and excursions). Yet also tons of good restaurants and coffee, shops, and small markets that allow you to be more casual if you want to. Then you can just stay in the villa use their excellent and clean kitchen and appliances and have one of the best views of Dia available on the island of Crete. The host Georgia is a 11 out of 10. She was kind enough to stock the kitchen so when we arrived, everything was already there for us to not have to leave the villa and totally relax and get over the jet lag. Then she provides ideas and was there every time I had a question (and I had a lot). The pool is perfect and house is new and precise and cools very well. Very good space and more than enough for the six people that it sleeps with having three private bathrooms was a treat

מאד נהנינו בחופשה בבית זה הכל היה נקי ומסודר. הבריכה מדהימה והחצר מפנקת. המארחים מאד נחמדים ואדיבים. השירות היה יותר מן הכלל. היתה לנו בזכותם חופשה מושלמת. ממליצה מאד על הבית ומקווה לחזור להתארח בו.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine ! Les hôtes, M. et Mme Vaggelis ont été adorables et plein de délicates attentions. Ils étaient réactifs et toujours disponibles et à l'écoute, s'assurant que nous ne manquions de rien. Tina, qui nous a accueillis le premier jour était également très à l'écoute et hyper bienveillant à notre égard ! Quant à la villa, elle était parfaite en tout point de vue ! Les photos de l'annonce correspondent à la réalité ! Je dirais même que c'était au delà de ce qui était indiqué ! La propreté impeccable, les services proposés, la décoration et le design de la maison, sans oublier cette vue incroyable sur la mer et sur l'île de Spinalonga. Je recommande ces hôtes et cette villa ! Allez-y les yeux fermés ! vous ne serez pas déçus ! Merci encore 😊

Une villa au bout du monde, perchée sur une falaise avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et les montagnes environnantes… idéal pour des vacances paisibles et reposantes, loin du bruit et de l’agitation. Plages sympas à 10 minutes en voiture (Agios Pavlos) et tous commerces nécessaires à 20/25 minutes (Agia Gallini). Nous ne pouvons que recommander !

Wonderful modern place. Exteremely spacious and we loved relaxing by the pool and enjoying the views. Simos was excellent - super responsive and provided extra tips and recommendations such as restaurants and supermarkets. All our requests were met, with an infant cot and high chair provided for our baby and the washer and dryer were very handy!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Incredible stay, stunning villa, lovely to walk into the little town, and a brand new restaurant opened called ‘Dusk’ a few minutes walk away which was 11/10. We adored the hot tub, luxury, all the little touches. Juicer for fresh orange juice and funky toaster. Thank you Crete is exquisite 💖💖💖

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and private villa with a truly spectacular ocean view. The perfect setup for our extended family (6 adults and 2 small children), offering plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms were comfortable with en suite bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. The kids especially loved the pool and all the toys available. We enjoyed local meals at Maxis Yard (a charming spot in the nearby village with pottery and homemade food) and Fisalida, which has a stunning ocean view. Both within walking distance. Grocery shopping was easy with both Lidl and the village shops close by. Our host went above and beyond—meeting us for check-in during Easter holiday and even doing grocery shopping for us beforehand as everything was closed. He surprised us with homemade dinner of delicious moussaka and Greek salad, which made us feel so welcomed. We left feeling relaxed and very tempted to return one day.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft und viele hilfreiche Gegenstände und Werkzeuge fürs Grillen als auch zum selber kochen tolles Geschirr und Besteck. Zudem Toilettenpapier, Handtücher etc. sind auch kostenlos mit dabei gewesen, sowie kostenlos Kaffee und Zubehör. Die Unterkunft hatte wirklich alles was man braucht. Die Villa bzw. der Urlaub war mein persönlich bester Urlaub.

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

We had a fantastic time. The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

Das tolle Haus, mit dem Pool befindet sich in einer unglaublich schönen, ruhigen Umgebung. Man ist sehr privat. Wir ( 6 Personen) haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Fotos sind real. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich mit frischem Obst, besonders lecker die Zitronen, und frischem Wasser. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Es ist ein Luxus, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, ebenso der Sternenhimmel jede Nacht. Restaurants sind in 10 min zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Christos und Giorgos sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war schnell und unkompliziert. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub zum abschalten und genießen.

What a fantastic place! Perched at the top of the hill overlooking the beautiful sea, our family thoroughly enjoyed the space, view and atmosphere. The house is beautifully decorated with well thought out space, we were a large family and still felt like we weren’t in each others hair. Highly recommended place to stay on the beautiful island of Crete.

Great villa perched up on a hillside, with stunning sea view. You definitely need a hire car as nothing much within walking distance but this was clear when we booked. Three lovely bedrooms, 2 en-suite. The outdoor kitchen is a really good feature. Friendly host who was flexible with check in and out times. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 8 Personen, und alle sind sich einig, dass die Unterkunft sehr gut war. Die einzige Überraschung war die Auffahrt zur Villa diese war sehr, sehr steil. Zu Beginn war das etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig mit den Mietwagen, aber Übung macht den Meister, und es gab keine Schäden zu verzeichnen. Die Check-out-Zeit war sehr flexibel, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren, denn unsere Flüge gingen erst sehr spät. Egal ob Männerurlaub oder ein Urlaub mit der Großfamilie die Villa Ligaria bietet für alle die perfekte Unterkunft. Und dank des netten Hosts gab es auch noch ein paar Informationen über die nähere Umgebung. Netterweise hat dieser auch schon Getränke für uns bereitgestellt, sodass wir zu Beginn mit dem Nötigsten versorgt waren.
