House vacation rentals in Ligaria

We came 5 people - my husband and I, with our 2 children and my mother-in-law. First of all, a few days before we arrived Elena (an amazing woman with a perfect english) contacted me and made sure she has all the details so she can prepare a perfect stay for us. The house was super clean and equipped, and the outside was the best! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the amazing nature around us. Elena and her husband Yiorgos are wonderful people - they were very kind, caring and responsive. We wish we could come again next summer 🙏🏻

Breathtaking views! Do you want a clean and beautiful place to stay? Then you've come to the right place! 🤩 The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is just perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool just a paradise! Not to forget this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are also great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to make sure we can enjoy our vacation 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria 🥰 Thank you for everything!

Our stay at the villa was just memorable! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Georgios, who took a lot of time to explain everything to us in peace. You can immediately feel his attention to detail and hospitality. The view is a real highlight: from the terrace you have a breathtaking view over the sparkling sea – like a painting! Waking up in the morning with this view and enjoying the sunset over the water in the evening was simply magical. The hosts are incredibly friendly and warm – you immediately feel at home. The villa itself is well equipped, very clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. A place to dream and unwind – we are guaranteed to come back!

We had done a JGA at the place. And there was nothing missing. Food/drinks were provided. We were right in love and felt right at home. For 6 people it was great and we definitely succeeded in the surprise for the bride. About 15-20 minutes by car to Heraklion, which is absolutely fine. Xristos is super friendly and accommodating. If I have the opportunity again, I would always go to this Airbnb :). Unfortunately, the weather was not so optimal with us, but we still had a lot of fun. The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

We felt completely comfortable at Pamela's place. Communication was through her son Lefteris – he responded super quickly and kindly to all messages and even gave us helpful tips on car rental. The house is perfectly located: close to the airport, close to the sea, but still pleasantly quiet. The apartment was very clean and cozy – you feel right at home. Pamela herself is an incredibly warm hostess who lovingly takes care of you. 🥰As a special highlight, she even surprised us in the morning with a homemade apple pie!😋 My five-year-old daughter especially loved the short walk from the house to the sea – with fantastic views. Sitting on the terrace in the evening, listening to the birdsong, looking out to sea and watching the lights from the airport at night was simply magical. Pamela and Lefteris are hosts with heart – we highly recommend the place and would be happy to come back🫶☀️

This very clean and ultra-modern vacation home exceeded all our expectations! Such a warm personal welcome by the owners. A well-stocked refrigerator upon arrival, as well as fruit, coffee and refreshments. Beautiful large private pool. Fantastic luxurious enjoyment in all comfort with comfortable loungers and bathrobes/slippers. It was perfect for us, definitely recommend it and will undoubtedly come back soon!

Antonia and Stella's house is very convenient and really very clean. There are wonderful views of Heraklion Bay. And the surroundings are quiet. Check-in and check-out information is impeccable, we arrived directly. Rodia is 15 minutes from the port of Heraklion, so very convenient for excursions in this city. Thank you for the fruit, drinks and pastries received upon arrival

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully decorated, with high-quality furniture and nothing is really missing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also arranged the transfer from the airport for us and it worked out just fine. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will be happy to think back to the time and come back soon.

For us it was an amazing stay in the idyllic little villa complex with pool and a beautiful wide view. The surroundings are peaceful, but you are close enough to walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. To reach more cities, beaches, etc., I would recommend having a car. The Greek host couple was very warm, attentive and helpful. We will gladly come back.

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Very very Beautiful Apartment and a Yard just for yourself to use and hang out. Perfekt for Couples or Families. There is also a small village with a little shop for some quick shopping. But in 30min you are in Heraklion and at beautiful beaches. Also Georgia is very kind and looks after you! Would def recommend and come back :)

I stayed with my wife and in-laws for three nights. The home was spacious and we enjoyed having the extra room. Thomais left us some treats in the fridge. A great home base. Note the beds are the firm side. The main living area has Air Conditioning but the upstairs bedrooms did not.

A big thank you to Konstantinos for our stay in Crete. The accommodation is simply great, with a pool with stunning views of the mountains, a real asset for unforgettable moments of relaxation. The village where the house is located is also very welcoming, we highly recommend the tavern at the entrance to the village for its delicious specialties. We were also delighted by the attention of Konstantinos, who spoiled us with a fridge filled with fresh fruit, delicious homemade jam pots and, of course, Raki. All of this went a long way in making our stay idyllic. Thanks again for everything. We will keep a great memory of this experience.

My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the rooftop and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought we would miss the sea, but that was not the case at all. We really managed to relax – walks in the area were enough. We actually planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice trips, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. My stay was so beautiful! I was travelling alone but at no point felt uneasy or unsafe. I felt very much at home. The place is immaculate and exactly how it looks in the photos. The views are breathtaking and it is a complete peaceful haven! Giorgos also arranged car rental for me, he made it super easy and the company he booked through were great ! I could not recommend this place enough, from the property down to the communication with Giorgos, everything was perfect!
