House vacation rentals in Ligaria

We came 5 people - my husband and I, with our 2 children and my mother-in-law. First of all, a few days before we arrived Elena (an amazing woman with a perfect english) contacted me and made sure she has all the details so she can prepare a perfect stay for us. The house was super clean and equipped, and the outside was the best! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the amazing nature around us. Elena and her husband Yiorgos are wonderful people - they were very kind, caring and responsive. We wish we could come again next summer 🙏🏻

Der Aussenbereich ist einfach perfekt, tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten, mega Pool auch für Kids und mit dem Spa Whirlpool einfach ein Paradis! Nicht zu vergessen diesen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang 🤩 Nicht nur die Unterkunft ist Perfekt, auch die Gastgeber, Maria und Savas sind tolle Gastgeber! Freundlich und Zuvorkommend, und immer erreichbar! Sie haben Spielsachen für meinen Sohn gebracht und Trotz der heftigen Herausforderung mit dem Saharastaub, haben sie alles dafür getan, dass wir unseren Urlaub zu 100% genießen können 😊 Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch auf Kreta und bei Maria 🥰 Danke für alles!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa war einfach unvergesslich! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Herrn Georgios empfangen, der sich viel Zeit genommen hat, uns alles in Ruhe zu erklären. Man spürt sofort seine Liebe zum Detail und zur Gastfreundschaft. Die Aussicht ist ein echtes Highlight: Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über das glitzernde Meer – wie gemalt! Morgens mit diesem Ausblick aufzuwachen und abends den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser zu genießen, war einfach magisch. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich – man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Die Villa selbst ist top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Ein Ort zum Träumen und Abschalten – wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Wir hatten in der Unterkunft einen JGA gemacht. Und hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es wurden Essen/Getränke zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir waren direkt verliebt und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Für 6 Personen war es super und die Überraschung für die Braut ist uns auf jeden Fall gelungen. Ca. 15-20 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Heraklion, was absolut in Ordnung ist. Xristos ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sollte ich nochmal die Gelegenheit haben, würde ich immer wieder in dieses Airbnb :). Das Wetter war bei uns leider nicht so optimal, aber wir hatten trotzdem sehr viel Spaß. Danke für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt und die tolle Ankunft.

Une qualité irréprochable, un hôte au petit soins, situé au calme. Tout le nécessaire est à disposition. On a passé un séjour merveilleux.

We stayed at Villa Elena for a week. ( Family of five / three children age 8,11 and 14. The Villa was lovely - nicer than the photos. We loved the pool - great size, a bit bigger and deeper than expected. The view was was amazing, i miss it already. Beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Everyone was so friendly. George was a brilliant host - very responsive and kind He spent time giving great recommendations which was very helpful. We loved our time in crete and would definitely recommend booking here.

Le logement était impeccable, propre et bien rangé. Pamela nous a accueillie pour notre court séjour à Heraklion. Nous y étions bien installés, à une quinzaine de minutes en voiture du centre de la ville et à 10min de l’aéroport ce qui a facilité l’organisation de notre fin de séjour.

Dit zeer proper en ultramodern vakantieverblijf overtrof al onze verwachtingen! Zulk hartelijk persoonlijk ontvangst door de eigenaars. Een goed gevulde ijskast bij aankomst, net zoals fruit, koffie en versnaperingen. Prachtig groot privézwembad. Fantastisch luxueus genieten in alle comfort met comfortabele ligzetels en badjassen/-sleffers. Het was perfect voor ons, raden het zeker aan en komen ongetwijfeld snel terug!

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Wir sind begeistert. Wir sind vor 6 Jahren schon einmal in einer Unterkunft von Marianthi gewesen und würden auch dieses Mal, sofort wieder kommen. Das sind mit Abstand die saubersten Unterkünfte in denen wir jemals waren. Alles ist mit Liebe bis ins kleinste Detaille eingerichtet und es gibt ein Willkommensgruss in der Küche. Marianthi ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich um alle Anliegen umgehend. Der Innenhof eignet sich sehr gut für Familien mit Kindern. In der Gegend gibt es vieles zu entdecken. Unser Highlight auch dieses Mal wieder ist die Voulisma Beach. Es gibt dort ein neues Restaurant "Macrame" was einfach nur atembersubend schön ist. Danke Marianthi für die schönen Ferien!

Magnifique maison fait avec beaucoup de goût vue superbe sur la baie d’Heraklion. L’équipement était le top et manque de rien. Paisible avec les instructions pour l’arrivée très complet. Nous avons rencontrons les propriétaires qui était très accueillant. Merci pour les fruits, boissons et les pâtisseries à l’arrivée, très appréciable. La seule dommage c’était que nous avons resté que 5 jours, nous retournerons avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Fantastic old traditional house, well preserved and carefully modernized. Kind hosts eager to assist and give recommendations of nice nearby places to visit. Amazing view of the valley.

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne und erholsame Ferien in Dimitris Appartement. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit qualitativ hochstehenden Möbel und es fehlt wirklich an gar nichts. Die Terasse hat einen einzigartigen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und wir haben viele schöne Stunden dort verbracht. Dimitris ist super freundlich, stets erreichbar und mit hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants usw. hat er uns sehr geholfen. Der Transfer vom Flughafen hat er uns auch organisiert und es hat bestens geklappt. Auch die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind fussgängig gut erreichbar und die Busstation ist gleich auf der anderen Strassenseite. Wir können das Appartement wärmstens empfehlen, für uns das schönste bisher und wir werden gerne an die Zeit zurückdenken und bald mal wiederkommen.

Ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und Privatsphäre suchen. Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch gelegen, umgeben von vielen Olivenbäumen und Bergen– perfekt zum Abschalten. Besonders gefallen haben uns der wunderschöne Pool, der gepflegte Tennisplatz und die erfrischende Außendusche – ein echtes Highlight nach einem heißen Tag in der Sonne. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Magdalena war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns alle aufkommenden Fragen schnell beantwortet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Eine Taverne, eine Tankstelle und eine kleine Bäckerei sind innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Da es allerdings keinen Bürgersteig gibt, ist ein Auto auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Zum nächsten Strand, nach Heraklion und zum Flughafen sind es mit dem Auto ca. 15 Minuten.

Ce séjour d'une nuit a été très agréable. Le logement est équipé de ce qu'il faut. Le raki offert au frais dans le frigo et la briche sont de très gentilles attention. Nous avons été accueillis par la merveilleuse Grand mère de notre hôte. Une femme au visage lumineux d'hospitalité qui a su nous aider au moment de notre départ car nous avions été maladroit avec les clés du logement. Un moment de vie intense qui fera un très beau souvenir de vacances. Allez y les yeux fermés !

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Ein früherer Check in war problemlos möglich. Auf Nachrichten wurde schnell und freundlich geantwortet

השהות בבית של ג'ורג'יה היא הרבה מעבר למקום לישון בו. הבית יפיפה, מעוצב באהבה וכבוד למסורת המקומית והמשפחתית , כל פרט ורהיט נמצאים שם באהבה. מהריהוט המשופץ, ספרי האמנות, המטבח המקורי, ועד המיטות והמזרונים המפנקים. החצר הפנימית מאד נעימה ומטופחת. ג'ורג'יה מארחת נדיבה באנושיות הלבבית שלה, סיפקה לנו המלצות לסביבה, עזרה לנו בנדיבות רבה עם צ'ק אין מוקדם והיתה זמינה לכל שאלה או התיעצות. בית ואשה פשוט מעוררים השראה

I stayed with my wife and in-laws for three nights. The home was spacious and we enjoyed having the extra room. Thomais left us some treats in the fridge. A great home base. Note the beds are the firm side. The main living area has Air Conditioning but the upstairs bedrooms did not.

Un grand merci à Konstantinos pour notre séjour en Crète. Le logement est tout simplement génial, avec une piscine offrant une vue imprenable sur les montagnes, un véritable atout pour des moments de détente inoubliables. Le village où se trouve la maison est également très accueillant, nous recommandons vivement la taverne à l’entrée du village pour ses délicieuses spécialités. Nous avons également été ravis par l’attention de Konstantinos, qui nous a gâtés avec un frigo rempli de fruits frais, de pots de confiture maison délicieux et, bien entendu, du Raki. Tout cela a grandement contribué à rendre notre séjour idyllique. Encore merci pour tout. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de cette expérience.

My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

Wir können uns den vielen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem schönen Bergdorf – es war ein besonderes Erlebnis. Jeden Morgen haben wir auf der Dachterrasse gefrühstückt und die Ruhe genossen. Anfangs dachten wir, dass uns das Meer fehlen würde, aber das war überhaupt nicht der Fall. Wir sind richtig zur Ruhe gekommen – schon Spaziergänge in der Umgebung haben dafür gereicht. Eigentlich hatten wir vor, mehr zu unternehmen, aber wir haben die entspannte Atmosphäre so sehr genossen, dass wir es ruhig angehen ließen. Trotzdem waren wir mit dem Auto unterwegs und haben einige schöne Ausflüge gemacht, unter anderem an die Küste, wo wir tolle Restaurants entdeckt haben. Ein Urlaub, der uns in sehr guter Erinnerung bleiben wird. Danke Marie und ihre liebe Mutter für alles. Liebe Grüße Simone und Michael

My stay was so beautiful! I was travelling alone but at no point felt uneasy or unsafe. I felt very much at home. The place is immaculate and exactly how it looks in the photos. The views are breathtaking and it is a complete peaceful haven! Giorgos also arranged car rental for me, he made it super easy and the company he booked through were great ! I could not recommend this place enough, from the property down to the communication with Giorgos, everything was perfect!
