The same goes for Vannverksdammen, which offers good swimming opportunities in the summer. Prepared ski slopes at Konnerud, and a short way to 2 downhill slopes!

Asker has a lot to offer, and Engelsrud is surrounded by three lakes which gives many opportunities for recreation summer and winter. Our garden/yard is very family friendly. A five minute walk from the house you can get public transportation bringing you downtown Asker in ten min. Asker has a small, but well developed downtown with a nice selection of stores, restaurants and coffeeshops. Trains will bring you to Oslo in twenty min. 15 min by car will bring you to the Oslo fjord in Asker.

This cabin is about 3 km walk from where you park your car. The last km is steep uphill. When you enter the cabin, there is nice scenery and nice opportunities to go hiking in Norwegian nature. It is quiet and peaceful without traffic nearby. From 1 January to 1 April, it can be hard to get into the cabin due to a lot of snow.
