Welcome in our "Cocoon cottage" a typical stone house cottage for 1 to 4 people in a quiet hamlet (40 houses) near a nature reserve. It is a friendly, picturesque cottage. There is an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bath and shower, a living room with a cosy wood stove (logs in the cottage). Big sunny garden with barbecue, table, swings, deck chairs. Lots of walks from the cottage. The hamlet "Sur la Heid" is right out of a book of fairytales" said our guests Tom and Heather from California.

For those looking for peace and nature, this is the right place. You are in the middle of nature with hectares of forest in the backyard. What used to be a stable is now a charming gîte. A typical house in the Ardennes with a lot of intimacy, minutes from the Formula 1 circuit. As a fanatical trailer, I know the forest in the backyard like the back of my hand. I can recommend any walking and hiking enthusiast to "get lost" there once. It is of course also suitable for mountain bikers.

Due to its ideal location (close to Aubel and its market, Val Dieu Abbey, RAVEL line 38), it is an ideal starting point for lovers of walks or bike rides. Close to the E42, it is less than half an hour's drive from Maastricht, Spa, Liège, Spa-Francorchamps or the 3 Borders and Hautes Fagnes site.

Ideal for a return to basics, with all the desired comfort, the Chaumont is a family house of character located in a green setting. The Chaumont is suitable for families with children: games - hut - bike path - wifi. Wide possibilities of excursions: Spa (15 minutes), Haute-fagnes (25 minutes), Liège (40 minutes).
