Rina and Enzo were so kind to pick us up from the nearby train station. Their apartment is located directly next to the lighthouse which gives a really nice atmosphere. The beach of Punta Penna is easily accessible by foot in just a few minutes. The beach is truly wonderful and was very calm and not crowded at all in October. Close by the apartment you have a nice coffee bar with super friendly staff, tasty coffee and snacks. Also a fish restaurant and a very tiny market with souvenirs and emergency food supply is available. Having the port in the nearby neighborhood was a bit odd in the beginning but it was actually not disturbing at all. The apartment itself is quite spacious and was super clean. The kitchen is well equipped. From the balcony you can enjoy the view on the lighthouse and the sea. The hosts even provided beach utilities like a parasol and snorkeling equipment. Rina and Enzo are very caring and friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Thank you guys a lot!

We had a brief stay at Piera and Nico's beautiful beach house, and we wish it had been longer! The home itself was lovely, clean, had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. It was a very private location, very large yard and patio space, and exceptional views of the sea. We accessed the "secret" tunnel many times to get to the beach, and it was a favorite with my little boys. We cooked many meals in the kitchen, and used the charcoal grill. Both Piera and Nico were very responsive if we had any questions or if anything came up. Great hosts! The surrounding villages were full of character, and were less than 45 minute drive. Some were even as close as 15 to 20 minutes away. So much local charm, beautiful vistas, delicious cappuccinos, and incredible history. We never swam in the ocean, because it was too cold, but we did hang out at the beach. A lot of places were closed down by the beach, but others were open in town. Highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay at Giuseppe's place. Had some difficulties initially finding the place but the host was very responsive and helped us find it. The apartment is spacious and has everything needed (especially lovely towels). You can see the beach from the balcony. Train station right next to the building so you can hear the trains but that did not bother us and it was helpful for catching the train. We especially loved that the Via Verde cycle path is basically at the end of the road - our children loved the easy and safe cycle to Vasto marina! All in all we had a great time and would happily come back.

Sharon was very spontaneous. We inquired at 10 pm in the evening and were able to move in at 3 pm the next day. Location is great !
