High quality linens are provided to add comfort for your stay, and the wood burning fireplace keeps you cozy. This quiet TINY (144sq ft) gem, privately tucked away and yet very accessible, Cabin Unwind, has a seasonal porch, queen sized bed, a few 'kitchen appliances' and GREAT wifi. The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The property includes a 0.3 mile long interpretive nature trail explaining the natural environment and history.

Our newly built apartment has two bedrooms, a living area, a dining area, and a kitchenette. Walk out to a balcony that overlooks a private yard surrounded by woods, grill a steak on the Weber grill, walk to the beach for an evening swim, and come back and cook marshmallows around a cozy campfire.

We aren't located on the water but we are within walking distance! Garrett Bay Park is a short walk and a great place to launch your kayaks, swim, or catch the sunset. For winter guests we are located just off the snowmobile trails.
