Latitude 44 was the cleanest, most welcoming and well appointed Airbnb. There was a ton of guest storage and furniture that allowed us to stay organized. The location is fantastic. Very close go the resort and all amenities, but on a dead end street with trail/snowshoe access via seasonal road. Very quiet and private. We would love yo visit again!

I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

I wish I could put into words how amazing this stay was! There were so many activities to do here, it was insane! I wish we had more time to enjoy them. It was very peaceful, kayaking down the river was a beautiful experience (definitely recommend water shoes, rocky bottom). They are also very accommodating for pets or for babies, have extra things just in case you forget something. 100000/10 would recommend to anyone!

My mother, sister, and I stayed at the cottage for a mother-daughter weekend. It was perfect for us and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The listing was accurate and everything was as described, or even better. The cottage is decorated with charming furniture, art, and antiques. Everything was easy to find, and the kitchen was especially well-appointed. There were instructions for everything, including the fireplace, hot tub, and sauna (all of which we enjoyed). Perhaps best of all, at least for our quiet and cozy weekend, there isn't a single TV in the house! Plenty of places to sit down and read or just relax and enjoy each other's company. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and downtown Petoskey was a 10 minute drive away. Very convenient. Clara was a communicative and kind host, and I enjoyed interacting with her. We definitely want to return in the summer months to enjoy the gardens and spend more time outside. Thank you for helping to make our weekend special!

we loved everything about this location. the decorations, fully equipped with every little thing you'd need, hot tub 🔥, sauna,🔥! Grumpy Bear is a retreat to remember!

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

We had a great weekend with our adult kids. We planned a quick buggy trip with our daughter and son in law to spend some time together and play in the woods as we like to say. Home was close to trails. Lake was a plus for us! We will plan a trip in the warmer months to spend some time on the lake. Beautiful home. Kitchen has all you need to cook just like home. Wonderful stay over the weekend! Jerry was the most accommodating Airbnb host I have expirenced to date. Place was very nice and met all the needs of home. Plenty of room in the driveway for multiple snowmobile trailers. 5 star stay and I hope to be back again when in the area.

The cottage was lovingly cared for. They paid attention to details. Everything was comfortable, one felt at home. Dennis and Tina were very responsive. I would definitely stay here again. The location was terrific for the scenery and the water.

Our family took our spring break vacation at this wonderful place! We were able to unplug from the real world and enjoy time together! The location was wonderful! Even though it was cold, we had the game room downstairs and a bunch of board games that were provided by Brenda! The best part was the VHS tapes that our children never had seen before. The kids loved it as much as we did! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Great, quite location. Well equipped and clean. Our dog loved the big yard to run while we relaxed on the nice deck. It's very dark at night, take a big basket for all the stars. Loved it, thanks Michelle

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.

We went up for the fall colors and had a very enjoyable stay. The view of the lake is beautiful during the day. Without light from nearby towns we could see shooting stars at night. The cottage was exactly as described. Cute, well stocked and very clean. Being older it does have some minor quirks, but nothing that took away from our visit. These were also communicated in the description. The home is very dog friendly. The fenced in yard is great. The fact that it's in the front of the yard means it doesn't interfere the lake view or access. The inside also has retractable gates if you wish to restrict your dog access to rooms as well. Kaitlin quickly responded to all of my questions. She also has a very thoughtful and detailed binder for local attractions in the area. There is only a Dollar Store and small food market in town, so you will need to the next town if you need more than convenience items. The pizza at Smokey's Restaurant & Tavern was really good!

Home is in a nice location with clear check in and check out instructions. The space while not huge is clean and has everything you need. The pictures match the actual place and there is a good restaurant within walking distance. Jennifer is a responsive great host.

Beautiful place, so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was incredibly clean and welcoming. There are several restaurants close by. If you are looking for a quiet place to rest and unwind, I would highly recommend staying here.

Had a great time with the kids at Edwards place. Definitely off the beaten path, 20 min drive to property driving on gravel and then dirt/sand after the gate, was a little tight between the vegetation on the path with my truck but no damage done(couple minor scratches). You'll get used to the solar power and learn to conserve, make sure to charge during the day. Amazingly beautiful property, crazy quite. We didn't see much wildlife during our stay, mostly a wide variety of birds. we rented the small boat and made it to the sandbar on Hubbard lake, if your not too familiar with boats I would rent a boat in the surrounding lakes before trying to make it by river to Hubbard lake. River is GREAT for kayak, canoe or paddle board plus you won't scare off the wildlife with the sound of the engine. Overall, we had a great time in this secluded setting and spending quality time with the kids without wifi/internet.

We needed to bring Thanksgiving to the area where our parents live but needed extra space so we rented this cabin. Very secluded but not alone (there are other cabins around). It was just great, very cozy during a couple of cold snowy nights! Very well outfitted, especially the full size kitchen. We brought a few things with us worried that the kitchen may not have everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner but it did! Great communication from the hosts at all times, but we never needed anything. We would happily go back again, hopefully in the summer, what a beautiful spot overlooking Starvation Lake.

The cottage was incredibly clean and welcoming. Natalie has truly thought of everything, and the homes was stock well beyond any standard expectation, which made our stay super comfortable. Communication was great from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. We had a short midweek visit, but we’re already hoping to come back again to enjoy the firepit and the quick walk to beautiful Higgins Lake. Highly recommend!

This cabin in the woods was exactly what we were looking for. Super nice and responsive host as well. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay there again.

My family, friends, and I enjoyed staying at Tim’s property once again. Tim is easy to reach if needed for anything, and was a great host. The property is well located and beautiful! Walking distance to dine out, or just a few minutes drive to get groceries, while still feeling tucked away. We hope to stay again next summer.
