The chalet acts a point of depart for mountain walks or hikes, bike riding, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing in the winter time. Ski slopes and thermal baths can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

Important note: The municipality of Leukerbad levies a tourist tax of 6 CHF per night and per person. Children 6-16 years old pay CHF 3.
