House vacation rentals in Les Salelles

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cévennes, super quiet, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. With a swimming pool and beautiful pétanque court… And available, responsive and very friendly hosts!

We had a great week at Anne's place! The cottage is very nice, spacious and nicely decorated. Exactly like the pictures. You have a fantastic view and you have a lot of privacy as a guest. The village of Ribes is beautiful and small, and the surroundings are also beautiful. The contact with Anne was very good. We would definitely like to come back!

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well-equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and terrace, where the views are breathtaking. We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house. As a group of 4 adults and one toddler, we enjoyed the spacious house with 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms/toilets and a big kitchen. But the best thing was the huge and very pretty garden and pool. We spent most of our time outside and had a very relaxing time.

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails just next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as a cherry on top. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was ready if we needed anything. Highly recommended and we would love to come back to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

Great stay with friends or young and old had a great time! Very beautiful spaces, charm and taste! We could easily have stayed there the whole stay, we felt so good in this house! Very pleasant and safe swimming pool for children, we enjoyed it 😃😃

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The house is wonderfully embedded in nature. It is very quiet, you only hear the sound of nature, the stream, the animals. From there we had many opportunities to hike with our dog. Banne and the surrounding places are wonderful for those who love hiking or the countryside. It was very clean and beautifully built and furnished. Anne was very nice and discreet. We were able to enjoy this privacy very much. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. This listing is beautiful and is located in a splendid setting. It's total calm. There are some very nice hikes to do in the area. We came at a time when it was not very hot with a lot of rain. The heating system is a small slow-burning wood stove that we had to supply with wood throughout our stay to heat the home and remove moisture. But this stay was a unique experience.

Very welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. Nelson, a lovely golden retriever. The pool is really a plus. Very quiet and very cozy place. The sharing platter they offer is a treat, as well as the homemade olive oil. We recommend this address. We'll be back.

It was a wonderful stay. For a weekend, we were able to enjoy François' accommodation, which is very well-equipped. The views are breathtaking, the environment is soothing and rejuvenating. The house is secluded and calls for slowing down, which is very nice. Thank you for this opportunity to create beautiful memories with family.

We were very well hosted by Gérard who is a warm, open and calm person that does good in a world where everything goes too fast. The place is beautiful, ideal for recharging and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage is very nice, the bedding is superb and everything has been very well thought out. The place is secluded but the access to the river and hiking trails are wonderful! The small terrace is lovely!

We had a great and relaxing time in Célia's extraordinary and stylish little house! We immediately felt comfortable and welcome, everything was exactly as described and beyond that nothing was missing! Célia really put a lot of effort and love into the furnishings and design! We were in the small village by the river at the beginning of June and enjoyed the tranquility and seclusion there very much, bathing spots are within walking distance when it is hot. Otherwise, you can do a lot of sports. Célia gives very precise instructions. We ate excellently at the restaurant "Bouchon Cévenol" in Chamborigaud!

It was a great stay with Anaïs and Mathieu. The apartment is very tastefully furnished, the kitchen very well equipped with everything you need. The apartment is relaxing and quiet in the vineyards. Thanks to the good recommendations, we had a very nice hike and drank good wine.

We had a great time at Myriam and Yves's place. Everything was perfect. Already the welcome: they are both adorable, very caring. The house they renovated themselves is exceptional. Both very isolated, in a remarkable setting, and very functional. There was really nothing missing. We were able to hike from the cottage. We highly recommend this cottage. A big thank you to Myriam and Yves for all the attention and also for the strawberry jam.

We had a great time at Lionel and Cathy's. The cottage is superb, the pool too. The environment is quiet, it is the ideal vacation spot for couples or families. Lionel gave us many recommendations for activities around the cottage, so we discovered some very beautiful little-known places. Cathy and Lionel are very friendly hosts and we were hosted very well. We would highly recommend it.

Marion's cottage is great! It is nicely decorated and the outdoor space with the hammocks on the tree were favorites with us. The fireplace also gave a lot of atmosphere in the evening. From the house you can take very nice walks and during your walk you will come across places where you can swim /take a dip. So even in summer it is very nice to be here (we were there in winter, although we still had many sunny days). Depoudent itself is a mini hamlet, but at not too long driving distance you have various nice villages. We would recommend this place to anyone who loves peace, nature & hiking:-)!

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x
