Walking, watersports or relax in lovely Hamble

RachelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great location to get to lots of various locations, we visited New Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth and walked down to the shingle beach, which was only a ten minute walk! Lovely and clean place, small but not tiny, just enough room for two adults and two small dogs. Everything was a thoughtful touch, from kitchen wear to comfort. Would definitely stay again if I was ever visiting the same area. Jackie was super helpful and very friendly, which is always a bonus. The surrounding area is residential and also partly industrial but noise level was low, which we appreciated. Plenty of space to park your car and close to the train station.

Durham Cottage - in the heart of Cowes old town

VanessaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Superb. Beautiful. Just book it you won’t be disappointed. You can enter from rear garden if it’s a wet day rather than going through front door. combined fridge/freezer so very useful. Lots of other useful household items left by the host for guests to use. So very well stocked.Just message Kate before you pack anything it’ll probably be there to use ie kitchen roll, tea towels, etc etc even things for the beach. Parking space useful if you have a car. we travelled as foot passengers from mainland, convenient walk from West or East Cowes terminus. You won’t be disappointed.

Olive House- 4 bedroom property on the harbour!

JanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Olive House was a fabulous place to stay. The beds are comfortable, showers are powerful and the kitchen well equipped. We loved the big dining table for family dinner and the comfy corner sofa in the living room for family games evening. It was a perfect location for us as we needed to be close to Newport but lovely to be out of town and on the River. It was great to be able to leave the car and walk along the river to pub for dinner.

Beachside chalet 6 Little Tern, access to beach

LilyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a fabulous time at the beachfront chalet! The chalet was beautiful inside with all the amenities we needed (and very cozy considering it was February!) , the outside deck had a lovely view of the shared garden and the sea which we spent a lot of time on. We feel rejuvenated after this stay! Thank you Kuki!

Bear Cottage, Beaulieu

ChristopherRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Cottage. It was warm and cosy, and had everything we needed for our long weekend. A short walk to Beaulieu and ideally situated for visiting the Motor Museum. We especially enjoyed using the tennis courts (agreed by prior arrangement). Thank you Angy - a wonderful host!

Coachmans Cottage

GrahamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It was very interesting to stay at this old historic coachman’s cottage. On a short walk there is little old travellers pub hidden away but obviously on what was once an ancient and now forgotten thoroughfare.

Hut in the Forest

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Shepherds Hut was a great find and exactly the cosy retreat we were looking for. Tom and Lucy were great hosts and communication was quick and easy. The hub's location was stunning, with wild deer in the field behind and only a short drive to the coast / walking paths in the New Forest. All the amenities were as expected with the hot tub easy to use and a bbq provided (as well as an oven inside). Nearby is a great local pub as well as the brewery which did food. Would definitely stay again.
