A little bit of quiet close to town. The Bay Windows are perfect for enjoying the abundance of Natural Light inside the house and the beautiful view. The entrance is narrow but any car comes in without any problem.

The place was very nice, clean, quiet but still centrally located. The amenities were perfect, especially the washing machine and dryer was ideal for us long-term travelers. Jose was always available, very friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great location between Santa Maria and Copey. Our dogs loved the secure garden and short trail to the river. Rolando was a lovely host.

Excellent place, very private, you can breathe in a lot of peace and tranquility, the host is excellent and the truth is that the house was just like in the photos, we loved it, we would like to return at some other time

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The location was absolutely perfect—just minutes from downtown, yet far enough to feel completely peaceful and disconnected. The interior design was beautiful and thoughtfully put together, and everything was spotless and super clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made cooking in really enjoyable. The host was very polite and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The only small thing we'd suggest is improving the bed mattress for added comfort. Other than that, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed here for 6 weeks. It's a great rustic place, in a rural neighbourhood. Lots of birdlife around. We felt very at home here and would stay again if we went to Costa Rica. The host always responded quickly, and the local manager was always available.

Stayed 2 months and 10 days at the wooden cabin, and I was genuinely saddened to leave. It was actually hard for me to leave this place. Abel is literally a problem solver. He jumps right in when problems arise to come up with solutions. Enjoy his sense of humor in Spanish, if you can. Spent Xmas dinner with this man and the kindest volunteer at the farm, and I wouldn't trade my end-of-year plans with anyone for anything. It was all perfect as it was. There's a beautiful community living there. Treat yourself to seclusion with a nice, clean, private swimming pool by a short walk to a waterfall and the river. Living here is a gift. It is a very quiet cabin in the mountains and near San José (to avoid the Holy Week dams) to relax and enjoy privately.

Great place! Private and perfect for resting. We had some events in the nearby villages and the location was perfect for us.

This home and family are above and beyond! The details are so thoughtful and it is incredibly kid friendly. It’s exactly as the pictures look and even more beautiful in real life. You have to see it to believe it. The local food is amazing and the hosts know all the best spots! The grounds, pool and house are so beautifully maintained.

We drove through the mountains to what looked like a small cabin, but that was not true at all! It had the sweetest entrance porch where we had a drink. Then there was a living room, dining room, kitchen and bedrooms. After that it had an outdoor kitchen where the family prepared authentic Costa Rican food. Then a courtyard with a look out over the mountain. A large last building had 5 beds for sleeping up to 10 people. The host started afire and they cooked in the outdoor kitchen. There were beautiful flowers in bloom and we took pictures of our family with this and the mountains as a background. There was a lot of parking space and a gate that made you feel secure. The whole time was very enjoyable. Bring your own food ahead of time everything that you want to eat, unless you pay to have the family cook for you, as it is not too close to town.

The cabin is a very quiet place that invites you to rest. The hosts have thought of many details for the best stay of their guests (appliances, board games, foosball, blankets, lanterns, etc.). It is a modern cabin with all the facilities but immersed in nature. Thank you very much for everything

Maria Guadalupe's accommodation is a very nice place, cozy and full of details that make it special. It made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The cabin is comfortable, clean, surrounded by nature and perfect for resting. Definitely an experience that we would recommend and repeat. Thank you for everything!

Excellent stay. The place is very quiet and we were able to travel much of the trail. We set the place because of the isolated, the landscape and the mountain climate but still, the Empalme is close in case something is needed. The cabin is perfect for relaxing and is well equipped.
