On the terraces and the large courtyard, you can enjoy the sun or sit around the campfire in large groups. Direct neighbor is a family-run inn where you can stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the next village there is a large quaint brewery.

This old barn has been transformed into an architectural experience through modern expansion. Over 250 square meters, two living areas, three enclosed bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. The 5 bedrooms with country house flair are surrounded by a very large garden with plenty of space to play (trampoline, sandbox) and enjoy (fire pit; grill). Behind it, river & forest, lake.

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!
