Jürgen was very helpful and very eager to give us a nice time. The property is great for groups and offers a lot. A lot of special features of the amenities make for a good stay.

Absolutely lovely apartment in a gorgeous location. Anja's family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is at the top of a steep road - walkable, but it's a shock to the system the first time - and Overath is a pleasant journey by rail or bus to Cologne, Bonn and the rest of the local area. It's very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is small but very well-appointed. We had a wonderful.time.

Good bus service to the train station to travel into Cologne Frank was really helpful telling us how to get there

We had a fantastic time. The entire house is impeccably designed, maintained, and equipped. We loved the spacious living area with its gorgeous views and after a day of skiing the sauna and the hot tub with a beautiful view of the stars were just right. The house also works really well for families with younger kids when the stairs are secured (e.g. using a travel crib).

Isabel was always very friendly and very easy to reach! She even inquired about our well-being when it was particularly cold outside. The surroundings are beautiful and very suitable for hiking! The cake in the nearby cafe was really delicious so that we were there several times. The cabin was very comfortable. All in all a great holiday!

The accommodation Burg Gemünden is an impressive manor house with a very long history, which you can feel in the house in a positive sense. We were there with 13 adults and 4 children. The house and the grounds are so spacious that there was always the possibility to escape the hustle and bustle for a moment. We were self-catering, which was no problem at all. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with two ovens, two refrigerators and a large selection of cooking and dining utensils. You can see from the house that it was lovingly and historically renovated (completed in the 1990s). The furnishings are of high quality and a mix of antique and modern. We felt very comfortable!

At our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Robert. Robert is a top host and incredibly friendly. He comes from the area and has tips and dishes in stock. Especially recommended is the biker ranch "ignition"! We will be happy to come back! Thank you 🤗

We had such a lovely time at Peter and Anne’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. We were three people, and each of us had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We worked from the apartment during the day and spent our free time exploring the beautiful area on foot. We recommend car travel, but the bus station is just across the street. Everything was within walking distance, and the neighborhood had such a peaceful and charming vibe—and ducks! Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day — which happened to be the start of the Cologne Carnival — Peter and Anne even picked us up from the train station. We weren’t prepared for the crowds and are genuinely thankful for their help. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to travel around this area. Thank you again for being such kind and welcoming hosts — we enjoyed our stay

We had a lovely stay at the witch's house. The house is well equipped, you will find everything you need. For us, the low ceiling height was also no problem, as we are both not tall😊

Very quick and friendly response. She also pointed this out very nicely to a small flaw. Apartment is as described. We had our Christmas party there and were able to wake up for a very long time and love to celebrate.

What a beautiful place to stay. Lots of hiking, Marburg visited. The cottage was as described. Very private with many terraces so you can enjoy the sun for a long time.

Maike's apartment is great! All you need for a very nice holiday. Maike was very clear in communicating the rules beforehand and during the check in. She also answered quickly to our messages, gave us nice tips and was flexible to our demands. All in all, we had a great stay!

I am thrilled. Arrival was great and I was immediately warmly welcomed. Both are super sweet and the location really nice. I had a lot of time to write in peace and could always contact Thomas and his wife. There was even a folder where all the important information and shops were listed nearby - with about the duration of the footpath. Just great! Always happy to come back.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

A lovely area and a house where the kids also had a lot of fun. Ping pong table, basketball hoop and pool were very high in the class at our (8, 11 and 13 years old).

We will be happy to come back! We were welcomed directly in a friendly way and everything was shown to us on site. Especially for children, a lot is offered on site. Next to the animals there are two games rooms and a small swimming pool. The property was clean, well-maintained, and superbly decorated.
