Monthly Rentals in Leland

Our family of 5 and pup had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and unique and the kids said they felt like they were staying at one of Eugene Levy’s houses from the Reluctant Traveler. Being about to walk outside the front door and see the lake down the street meant that I walked down to drink my coffee and watch the water and we went on lots of walks. The location is also great to explore the whole peninsula. We went in April so we felt like we had it all to ourselves.

This is my second stay at The Minnow and once again, it was wonderful. It’s a quiet and cozy space, loaded with everything I needed. Waking up to the view out the porthole window is lovely and I slept so well in that loft bed. The climb up and down is a little daunting but became second nature by the end of the week. Despite the quiet time of year that I come to stay, there is always plenty of things to see and do (and I can do it without the crowds). Lisa is always kind, generous and responds quickly. I will go back to stay there again but hopefully sooner this time.

The cottage was perfectly appointed- the bedrooms were the perfect size and setup, the bathroom was super nice and clean, the kitchen had all the right utensils- everything worked just right! In Lake Leelenau downtown is a one minute walk from the cottage. Everything else is a short drive - the lake, Leland, Traverse and other local destinations. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Beautifully decorated and well-appointed cottage set among a tranquil property. We truly appreciated the incredibly clean and super cozy space that included fresh coffee, a bottle of local wine, comfortable beds and every amenity from games to local information. Would definitely share the listing information with friends and hope to return.
