Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Leeward Islands

We stayed for six nights, and we were very satisfied with our time here. Our check-in went very smoothly. Barthelemy and Nathalie were wonderful checking us in as well as checking in with us throughout our time when we had questions. They are amazing people. This place is close to the water. One observation is that the street can get a bit noisy from time to time with street traffic. Amazing value

Place was private, quiet, very spacious, and absolutely beautiful. Having a private deck over the water with crystal clear water to snorkel and kayak in was more than we could as for. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of staying here.

Hard to believe, but Mirella’s and Petero’s place is even more beautiful than the pictures can lead to believe. We had a wonderful stay and wishes we have stayed longer. You can’t beat fishing from the lounge and having a meal with fish fresh out of the lagoon. They were very welcoming and had lots of recommendations to make our stay memorable. A little far from the airport but definitively worth the hassle getting there, we can not recommend it enough, especially if you have kids.

Very tidy, clean and comfortable place. Milenas parents are so sweet. They prepared plate of fruit, some snacks and water for us. Private place with all amenities and facilities.

Sam and Toriki are wonderful hosts and this is a perfect place to stay for people who like to swim, snorkel or kayak and read or and chill in a perfect and simple place. It’ an unbelievably beautiful location and it’s for those who want to get back to nature. Provisioning in town is easy to do; so is going off the motu to Fare or Avea Bay for a lunch or dinner out if you have a rental car at their mainland pier, which I heartily recommend. It was hot in late December and there’s no AC but you just jump in the water to cool off. There are plenty of clean linens and towels. The bed was comfortable and the showers are great, inside and on the beach. Loved every moment of our stay.

Anaïs offers a warm welcome and even offers fresh, local dishes! The place is peaceful and secure. The space is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Thanks Anaïs and her husband for this pleasant stay!

Everything is super organized. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. Even a washing machine. In the accommodation you can use the bikes, kayaks and snorkels for free. The host also helps with the tour booking. Clear recommendation!

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

We only stayed there for a night. It was difficult to find an open restaurant around the area since it was a Sunday, but the host was very nice. Our previous hotel dropped us at the wrong location, she was nice enough to drive 30mins to pick us up and have her colleague to drop us off at the Air Tahiti ferry at 6:15am.

One of those places where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. An unforgettable stay for the whole family that will remain long as oustanding souvenir. Kids loved jumping in the water from the pier just across the road, easy ride to the shop by bike to get a fresh baguette in the morning, and so much to see and do around the island! You can go there eyes closed for a great stay, we would love to come back some time in the future!

We had a great time at Anaïs and Grégory's. They're really welcoming and friendly hosts. The accommodation is clean and functional. The little extra: free bikes for getting around And the big plus is the terrace, which is furnished to have your own little privacy with a sublime view of Bora Bora. A big thank you to them. It was great!

Very nice all furnished small apartment close to the downtown. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The apartment itself does’nt have the view on the water or the pool. But you have very easy access to it. Loved the pool and the view. Thank you !

We had a small issue upon arrival. The floor of the accommodation is simply cleaned with a broom. No mop, so the floor was stained. Very functional accommodation, nice view of the lagoon. Thanks to Tasha for her kindness and responsiveness following the problems encountered in the apartment.

We had a great stay at Huahine Beach House! It’s located in the absolutely best possible location in Huahine. The house is right on the nicest strip of beach sand in the area with good snorkeling just steps from the house. It’s only a few minute walk to the small town for restaurants and groceries. We particularly liked the Chinese food and the fried chicken chunks from the food truck at the dock. Izzy’s burgers was great too and the owner was super friendly. As for our space ( Maeva) at the beach house, I’ve never had AC so unbearably cold that we continuously had to turn it down! The place fit our needs perfectly. The owner was on site at times and was a wonderful person who is so friendly and helpful. I think I’ll miss his funny laugh the most. Thank you for the great memories!

2nd time staying at the appartement. Located half way between Opoa and town, with a little shop across the road.

Communication was excellent. We arrived by flight, had a rental car and took the quick 5 min drive over. Sam was there, who lives on the property. He got us situated, even offered to let us borrow the kayak to go out into the lagoon, and found some snorkels for us to use! We had a nice short stay in Bora Bora, and everything was so close. My wife wasn't feeling well and we had an afternoon flight out, and with rain all day, there wasn't much for us to do, so with a flexible check-out we were able to let her rest and I took the kids down the road to the yellow food truck Kai Kai. Thank you for a great stay!
