The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the Wanswert church. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we have used second-hand furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a pleasant living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden around it, a private front door and lots of privacy.

We have canoes and bicycles for rent. The cottage is located on a small-scale recreational site with 5 cottages and space for 10 campers.

The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Lodging "Smederij Sterk" is located in the old city forge of J. Sterk. The monumental building dates from 1907 and is located in the middle of the city center, close to museums, restaurants, cozy shopping streets and the station. The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Tinyhouse Stilte aan het Water Geniet van rust en natuur in ons sfeervolle tinyhouse aan het water in Stiens. Met eigen ingang, airco, privacy en uitzicht over het water. Perfect om te suppen, vissen of zwemmen. Extra’s: ontbijt, huur van sups en e-bikes. Nabij Leeuwarden en Holwerd (veerboot Ameland). Fiets- en wandelroutes starten bij de achtertuin. In het weekend serveren wij (tegen betaling) een ontbijt, door de week alleen in overleg.

Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together.
