Welcome to Bosch en Duin in our former garage/barn, which was converted into a very luxurious and stylish home on September 1, 2016. Ideal for 2 people, but also suitable for a family with 2 children or 4 friends. The home is fully insulated and heated by underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Through a window as large as the garage doors and on the other side windows up to the ridge and 3 large skylights, it is a delightful bright space with stunning views of garden and forest totaling 2800m. The Garage consists of one large room with a wooden unit in the middle. On one side of the unit there is a beautiful, complete kitchen with 4 burners/combi oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer integrated in a hard stone countertop. On the other side is a small but tasteful shower (thermostat tap), toilet and sink with automatic tap and illuminated anti-condensation mirror. The unit offers spacious cupboards and drawers and a staircase upstairs. The unit has a double bed of 1.60 x 2.00 m with a lovely sheep wool duvet of 2.00 x 2.00 m. For lodgers who are afraid of heights, there is a spacious and comfortable sofa in the sitting room that turns into a double bed of 1.40 x 2.00 m in one motion. Next to this spacious corner sofa there is another comfy chair to slide comfortably close to the stove. In the dining area there is a spacious wooden table with 4 chairs. The drawings and ceramics images by our son, outsider artist Hannes, give the space a very personal and cheerful appearance. The home has its own private, private and wonderfully sheltered terrace with comfortable garden chairs with pillows. In the forest there is a bench to enjoy nature in peace or to read a book. Finally, there is a hammock for a delicious afternoon nap. The house has WiFi, with which you can watch the available iPad TV via our Ziggo connection, also radio. So there is no flat screen TV. We have a dog of our own, but we don't want a dog in De Garage. Guests can use the entire house, but also the terrace, the forest and the driveway to park their car. We will be there when guests arrive and depart. We tell the guests about our house, the equipment and the area. The house is non-smoking. We do not provide breakfast or other meals. Combine nature and culture in "De Garage," on the estate Ter Wege in Bosch en Duin, surrounded by the woods of the Utrecht Heuvelrug and a short distance from Utrecht and Amersfoort with their many museums, restaurants and other entertainment options. Guests can use our bicycles. A bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Own transportation is of course always easier and faster. Guests can always reach us by phone for questions.

Spacious (120m2) exclusive apartment with everything you need for a carefree stay in Utrecht. Perfect for families and one or two couples. The apartment is devided over 2 floors and had a total size of around 120 square meter. The apartment is big enough to accommodate a family with (young) kids, 2 couples or single couples who needs some extra space. Also business- and solo-travellers are more than welcome to stay. On the first floor: A toilet and small room with desk, a spacious living room with large sofa, TV (with Chromecast) and music equipment. Via the living room there is an entrance to the balcony. Open kitchen with all facilities like microwave, oven, dishwasher. This whole floor has the authentic high ceilings which give a very spacious feeling. On the second floor: 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom with large bed and entrance to the second balcony, 1 bedroom with sleeping couch for 1-2 person(s). Large bathroom with huge bath, separate walk in shower, sink, washing machine and toilet. WiFi, clean bedsheets, towels, dishwashing tablets, coffee and tea are included. Next to this you can make use of our iPad, Netflix account, Chromecast, Apple TV, iMac, electric drumkit, acoustic guitar and Sonos sound system. In case of any questions or doubts; don't hesitate to send us a message. Note: This apartment is not suitable for parties or loud group of people. Please have a party in the city or stay elsewhere. Welcome in Utrecht! Shop in the boutiques and supermarkets and dine in the hip restaurants in the famous streets of Oudegracht and Voorstraat, 5 minutes away by foot. Stroll in the open spaces of nearby Griftpark, while the central railway station is a 15-minute walk. Train: The apartment is located 15 min walking distance from Utrecht Central Station train station. Utrecht is easiest reachable within 30 min by train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Car: There are paid parking places in the street for EUR 3,58 per hour or EUR 24,96 per day. On Sunday it is free to park. There is also an option to park in parking garage called Grifthoek for EUR 16,00 per day. This parking garage is very close by (4 min walk) Free parking is possible near train station Utrecht Overvecht, but will take you at least 20-25 min walk to the apartment.

Zwiethouse is located on Klein Landgoed (1 ha) next to Soestdijk Palace and Drakensteyn Castle. From the forest house (located in privacy), beautiful views into nature! Many birds, also owls, squirrels and you can see regularly deer! Walk/bike (for rent) through the Baarn woods, light a fire at Zwiethouse, to the Soesterduinen, eat pancakes in Lage Vuursche, by bike boat to Spakenburg or shopping in Amsterdam, Amersfoort or Utrecht.
