We received a very warm welcome from Fiona when we arrived, the ‘check-in’ was smooth, clear and friendly and we immediately felt at home. The house is exceptional quality, located in a beautiful spot, drivable to local villages and also well located for easy motorway access. All rooms in the house are really well appointed with plenty of space for our family, including kids. We appreciated the little touches Fiona added, such as home baked goods, jams, eggs and chocolate. The house was perfect for our long weekend in the area, and we fully recommend this house to others - we would certainly like to return again.

We have had the most amazing family holiday. we travelled with our elderly mother for her 95th birthday. Tanya had thought of everything possible to make our stay as welcoming and comfortable, home from home.. Lots of thoughtful touches including little personalised notes (even a one for my sisters dog from her dog digger,)and the most heavenly ginger cake. The cottage, surroundings and garden are just beautiful. so peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely visit again. We have some wonderful memories to treasure for a lifetime. A truly beautiful location and a lovely cottage. We had a great week and wished we could have stayed longer. Jane was on hand with lots of local information and made us feel very much at home.

We loved our stay at Swallows Nest. A tranquil, peaceful stay which allowed us to remove ourselves from our busy lives for a few days and enjoy the quiet. Slaithwaite has loads to offer too in terms of good restaurants & nice walks… all in such a picturesque spot too. Everything in the cottage was top standard. Clean. Comfy beds. The shower is great and the bath is huge! Our daughter very much enjoyed her relaxing baths every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Rumpus is a must visit in town for the most delicious burgers using beef from the cattle at Sally’s farm. Thank you Sally for such a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay at Greg’s place for a family celebration. The location was perfect and the scenery lovely! The house was clean and tidy with plenty of space and everything we could need. Would definitely recommend a stay here, thank you Greg!

Had a great visit! Very fortunate for John to be understanding and allow us to film our final student short film. John was always very quick to answer any questions, he was very understanding of filming which is always appreciated. The location was beautiful with some lovely surrounding scenery. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tithe Barn. The whole place is finished to an amazing standard, and it was spotless throughout. We were surprising our dad for his 60th birthday and the owners allowed us to check in slightly early so that we could get the cake etc inside and be there to surprise him. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back

Stayed here with my parents, wife and little girl (3) and we loved it. Lots of space for everyone to get comfy. Big kitchen where we could prepare food. Parking for 2 big cars out back. We liked it because it had so much character and felt a bit ‘out of the way’. I actually don’t know what is local to the cottage as we were content to spend the evenings inside. Elizabeth and her family were very welcoming and helpful while maintaining our space and privacy. Great hosts.

We had a great stay in the Threshing Barn at Fall Head Farm over the Easter holidays. We were 6 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs and we had plenty of space. The barn is modern and well kitted out, the beds are comfy and the view from the garden is wonderful. The hot tub is a lovely addition. Emma is an exceptional host - friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. She even gave us some delicious, fresh eggs for lunch one day - which was so lovely of her (and they were delicious). There is a brilliant mountain biking track very close by (my nephews spent a lot of time in the woods there!), and lots of beautiful walks directly from the front door. Emma provides useful information upon arrival, including some recommendations of things to do. We enjoyed lunch at the Fountain in Ingbirchworth, and a walk around the reservoir there. Overall, we had a great stay as a large family and would recommend a stay here.

Definitely recommend staying here, not far from the city centre and other places. The house is lovely and full of lots of little touches which make it special. Anything you may need help with is provided from the host and makes everything easy to use. Our family had a lovely weekend in a lovely home. Thank you

Lovely little stay at this cottage. Clear instructions of how to find. Beautiful views.

We stayed whilst attending a nearby wedding. The home was lovely, in a very quiet area and was in beautiful surroundings. I think it might have been difficult to find had Deborah not given us some clear instructions to go along with the postcode, but with that we found it easily. The key safe to get in made life easier when we were arriving at different times and made check in easy. The property was beautiful inside and out, and we benefited from lovely weather and could enjoy a morning coffee and breakfast in the garden.

Large house in a quiet location , ideal for family gathering . Kitchen was well equipped which made catering easy . No camp cot or high chair but we bought our own . Thankyou

lovely cottage and amazing location

We stayed in Cheryl's airbnb over our wedding weekend. It was the most beautiful place to get ready in, so much natural light and finished to such a high standard. With it being our wedding weekend, we had lots of questions beforehand for Cheryl, she was really responsive and so helpful. We honestly couldn't have asked for anymore. Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay!

We had a lovely stay at Corey’s. The place was clean, spacious and had loads of really helpful instructions explaining how to use everything. It’s a really relaxing and peaceful place full of wildlife, and the hot tub is amazing. Will definitely be coming back

Lovely stay here with family for big birthday celebrations. Stunning house and views - matched the pictures! Very clean and cozy and perfect for a family with children as plenty of toys inside and out and very child friendly. Unfortunately hot tub wasn't working but Adam kept me in the loop whilst trying to fix it the week before and was very apologetic. Lovely host, very responsive and helpful. Didn't realise the host and his family actually live there and move out during bookings but it made it all the more homely! Would happily stay there again 🙂

Der Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung war wirklich phantastisch. Alles sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet. Alles sinnvoll Benötigt war da. In sehr hoher Qualität und wirklich extrem sauber und gepflegt. (Kein überflüssiger oder störender Schnickschnack). Das Bett war das Beste an das ich mich in über dreißig Jahren "auf Reisen" erinnern kann. Sogar waschen und trocknen kann man beinahe kostenlos, was für professionell Reisende wie mich bei längeren Aufenthalten von unschätzbarem Wert ist. (Wer sitzt schon gerne am Wochenende stundenlang im Waschsalon)? Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr schön und lädt nach der Arbeit zu Spaziergängen in die Landschaft ein. Nachts ist es sehr hier ruhig und leise. Nichts stört einen erholsamen Schlaf. Alles zusammen ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Sehr empfehlenswert für Einzelpersonen oder Paare, die einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in einer wirklich schön eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung in der Nähe von Huddersfield verbringen möchten.

Perfect place for a couple of days away. The scenery , hot tub ,quietness and cosiness of the couples cottage was spot on .
