Our stay was amazing. Simply put the lake house us relaxing, with everything was easy. The home is clean with everything we needed for the best mini vacation. Our dogs enjoyed the comfort as did we for having a space we can travel that is inclusive to dig parents. The lake house is a home, away from home that provides a space to visit with family who live in this area. The scene out the windows I pure magic. What a hidden gem in the heart of Perth. This property gives the feel of being in a countryside estate, with astounding views from all rooms. Nestled in the trees, surrounded by the sounds of a flowing river, and as quiet as can be. 1 minute walk to the famous Stewart Park, boutiques, restaurants and amazing kids play area. The actual home is breath taking. The character of the old stone cottage has been maintained, while every corner of the home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, creative, clean, charismatic, and inviting. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, massive bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything for a chef! The living room is bright with stunning views of the river. Perfect home for anyone to enjoy in any season. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful. Would stay here forever!

Kiara’s place is absolutely stunning. When you first drive in you’re greeted by the two most adorable goats! The house is at the end of the road, making is peaceful and private, your own little oasis. While the photos are beautiful the actual home is even better in person! It’s bright and airy and super fun! You have games, fire pit, an outdoor cooking space and the starlink is amazing! I was working and had no issues connecting to all of my work calls / meetings / etc. Kiara is also so lovely! She’s kind, responsive and super helpful! My travel plans changed twice and she was incredible and accommodating! I really can’t say enough about this host and location! I would HIGHLY recommend! You’re also super close to Kemptville for any groceries and Merrickville which has adorable shops. Not to mention a two minute drive to the highway to get you anywhere! I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

The space was absolutely perfect. Beautiful kitchen, nice updated bathrooms and lots of space to sleep. Everything you need for a group. He was so quick at getting back to me, it was great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

what a beautiful place!! beautiful view, very quiet, very private, comfortable bed, plenty of coffees & tees! my dog played with their doggie. very friendly kind people. we enjoyed walking on frozen lake, making fire in the snow. we definitely wanna visit in summer time!

Tim's place is beautiful and great for a family or a small group of friends. the views are breathtaking and aside from 1 neighbour(who was not there the whole time) it is a very private location. the place was spotless clean when we arrived!! we had some issues with sleeping arrangements as we got extremely unlucky with the weather while we stayed and were hit with cold fronts and rain. Was way too cold to sleep in the bunkie and unfortunatley there is no heating in there. I would say 6 people max to reach max comfortability in this cottage. We will definitely be back here with a smaller group and no baby!

Had a wonderful stay with our pet at Pineview Cottage. Valarie is a very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Very clear instructions for check-in details of the cottage was sent in advance - cottage matched the pics. She also had some useful tips for us about sites in the area. Chaffey's Lock is beautiful & peaceful place and we had a very comfortable stay at Valarie's. Will certainly stay at her cottage again if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

We loved our stay at this gorgeous lakeside home. It was beautifully decorated and clean, with great facilities (firepit, hot tub, games room, pedalo), a well-equipped kitchen, and comfy beds. Also a lovely, quiet location, but not too far from Kingston. We'd definitely come back again.

Stayed in early spring. Lots of books, games, movies to entertain. Internet was fast and reliable. Wood stove kept the cottage cozy. To cold to swim etc. Parents with small children be aware the path to the lake is steep with no railing. Overall loved the stay. Planning another in the fall.

We spent three lovely late winter nights. The cottage was clean, spacious and very inviting. My wife and I loved the sauna and my kids loved the hot tub. We cozied up in the evening watching movies, puzzling and playing cards. The deck with the fire pit was a favourite spot for a morning coffee looking at the frozen lake. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the city and unwind for a getaway as a couple or family. Hosts were fantastic!

Amanda and Eric were excellent hosts. The Dog House on Dog Lake was just as described. Amanda and Eric were very friendly hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and then totally respected our privacy. We enjoyed the cottage and all the amenities. The Dog House was very clean and well stocked with useful items. We were 25 min. from Kingston which allowed us to enjoy a show at The Grand Theatre and a boat tour of The Thousand Islands. This is a great place to stay. We highly recommend it. This was my second winter visit, to this beautiful cottage! It has everything for a quiet relaxing getaway! It’s private, yet not in the middle of nowhere, it’s cozy and welcoming. It’s clean and beds are comfortable! The kitchen is not overly stocked but has all the essentials! The deck is beautiful, so is the view, you can take nice long walks around the cottage, and it’s just everything your looking for if you want to relax, slow down and enjoy the peace and quiet! Thanks again for making your cottage available to us! I’ve looked at other places before booking, but nothing compared! This will definitely be a yearly, winter getaway for me!

Was the 10-hour round trip worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it only added to the charm of this beautiful cabin—honestly, we felt like we were in a cozy winter wonderland. I can't think of a single negative moment from our stay. Even our cats would agree. Alison and James have truly created something special here, and their attention to detail made this one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Not to mention all the incredible visits we got from the local wildlife. Communication with Alison was seamless, which truly helped ease our nerves about visiting a new place while navigating through challenging weather conditions. We’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the treehouse in all its glory (hopefully without the freezing rain next time!). This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!

We, a family with young kids, had a wonderful stay at this charming new-build cottage! From the moment we arrived, Steve greeted us with hospitality, providing boat rides to the cottage and ensuring we settled in comfortably. The cottage itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had all the modern amenities we could ask for. The highlight for us was the private beach access to the St. Lawrence River, where our kids enjoyed playing and swimming in the clear, refreshing waters from the private beach. The canoeing was fantastic; we paddled around the serene waters and took in breathtaking views of the river and surrounding nature. Fishing enthusiasts in our group were thrilled with the opportunities right off the dock. This island location was perfect for our family, peaceful yet close enough to charming towns of Thousand Islanda for exploring local shops, restaurants, and Boldt Castle. Thank you Steve for everything, we hope to return in the future!

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!
