Wonderful Getaway! Just as described - sweet cottage with a huge, wrap-around, screened porch overlooking the water. The property is very peaceful with lovely loon calls each evening. You have your own, great swimming area with a big dock and beautiful, clear water. We loved exploring the lake with the kayaks & pedal boat. The cottage is top notch clean, with thoughtful amenities and lots of towels, blankets, kitchen supplies & grill utensils. Also, having a washer, dryer and dishwasher is a bonus! Myra & Charlie are super friendly & available, while giving you plenty of space & privacy. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at Vaughan's Nuthatch in October 2024. Fewer of us arrived than was planned: only two stayed there the first night, one night we were four, otherwise three. So, we had a much larger place than we needed. But we had no regrets. We found the place to be well furnished, very well-maintained inside and out, very clean, and very functional. Using the provided equipment one of us snorkeled in the lake, and two of us kayaked. We cooked in the kitchen and on the grille. The instructions we were provided covered everything A "very well done " to the owners.

Great place, very clean, well equipped and in a private area. Mike and Bethany were very responsive and accommodating while staying. It is snow season so 4x4 is definitely recommended if coming in the winter. We would love to stay here again if the need arises and highly recommend.
