Central Hoylake Apartment

NeilRating, 5 stars1 week ago
this was my first experience of staying in airbnb in the UK, having done a couple in the USA in New Jersey I felt so at home at Colleen's place. maybe it's because I have a connection with the area, as a child I spent a great deal of time with my grandparents whom lived in leasowe not far away.. and my grandmother and dad are buried in landican cemetery a short distance away. everywhere I walked within Hoylake I felt they present. it was a very emotional experience to be back on Merseyside. As a host Colleen waswonderful she explained everything, and didn't mind if I came in late out in Liverpool from concerts. when I left this morning I was a bit sad , because I realise how much I've missed being on Merseyside. I may live in London but my heart will always be on Merseyside and Liverpool. I thank you for giving me your home for five days it was wonderful and I will come back.

Cheerful dub rm - private shower, kitchen & TV rm

Felt safe and very comfortable in Tim’s fabulous home. So much to explore in the Wirral and Liverpool. Train service brilliant and clean and lots of options- L'pool, Chester, West Kirby (good charity shops and walk to Hilbre island to see the seals), and Port Sunlight to name a few. Lovely walks on the doorstep In either direction beside the sea or along the promenade by river Mersey, ferry to Liverpool. Also, murals really worth finding on houses and shops in centre of New Brighton - one around the corner from Tim's.
The kitchen features a bright and open layout with modern white cabinetry and a gleaming countertop. Natural light is allowed in through large windows, enhancing the inviting atmosphere. A doorway leads to a small outdoor space, visible beyond the kitchen area.

A lovely annexe in a peaceful area. I stayed here as I was going to an exhibition at Lady Lever Art Gallery at Port Sunlight close by. I stayed for 2 nights for some time out. The bed is very comfy and the shower is great. Thanks for leaving me to my own devices. I had some very peaceful and much needed respite time.

I loved my stay. It was a super quiet property and street, easy to park, great location and with a comfortable room and bathroom. And Cath was really quick to respond to messages. It made my stay really relaxing.

Had a very pleasant and comfortable stay with Joyce. Her place was very convenient, tidy and well placed for transport links to Liverpool city centre. Great value, and I would not hesitate to book again next time I am in Liverpool!

Lovely 4-bedroom Victorian terraced house, Hoylake

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Caroline is a friendly thoughtful helpful host, she went out of her way to make me comfortable & happy! Unfortunately I arrived a few hrs late due to travel delays, + phone issues, she kindly waited for me/and put a key out. The room is lovely comfy, quiet with a beautiful view! A great location for walking into town / or the train station. Hoylake is a lovely place, hope to be back one day. Enjoy your next NZ trip :) Many thanks. Best wishes, Anna
