Family-friendly vacation rentals in Le Temple-sur-Lot

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

Arnauld and Marion gave me a very warm welcome and are very nice, I thank them for everything and I will gladly come back.

Extremely pleasant stay in Jocelyne's beautiful house. The place is totally in line with the photos, if not even better. The place is really quiet, it's very soothing. Everything was perfect, the pool, the hot tub, the garden, the well-equipped kitchen, the dining and rest areas. We felt like we were home very quickly. Jocelyne advised us on activities and restaurants next to her house. Thank you again for hosting us. This week was perfect! We'll be happy to go back!

Brigitte is a great host, the concept of a trailer in nature with animals, games for children, canoes on the edge of the Lot, is just incredible. We had a very good, friendly welcome. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely be back

I can only recommend Claudette's accommodation, this haven of remarkable cleanliness is probably the best equipped I have known to date: more than complete kitchen equipment (you can tell that this accommodation is regularly occupied by its owners), SPA, ping pong table, etc. The area is beautiful, combining nature and enchanting villages, don't miss the markets of Montpazier and Villeréal... the cottage is as described. the cottage is very spacious with all the necessary amenities. quiet and relaxing environment. David's instructions are very clear. i would definitely recommend it.

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful property. The grounds are so well kept, the house is stunning and well fitted out and the pool / spa / pétanque / ping pong table are the perfect additions to keep you entertained all day / night. Bernard the groundskeeper went above and beyond cleaning the pool each day and taking the rubbish etc. It is a fantastic house to rent for a summer holiday!

Very good stay, the garden is beautiful and peaceful, the village is very cute 20 minutes from the Dordogne Valley. Jean Marie and Nicole are charming and hosted us very well.

We had a wonderful weekend in this cottage. The place is really superb and exotic, the pool is very well maintained and all the amenities are present in the cottage. Viviane is adorable and responsive for any questions, I recommend for a weekend/holiday with family or friends!

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home in Nérac! The house is very clean and ideally located, close to all amenities. The hosts are extremely welcoming and attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this sweet sweet spot!

We spent the Easter weekend at Andrew's house, as a family of 14. It rained the whole stay but we were still comfortable in the large house between the large living room and its fireplace which warmed us up, the dining room and the attached game room. We will have to come back to enjoy the pool, pétanque, bikes and great outdoors around. It's a big rustic house, you can find things to complain about but the price is what we have. In our opinion, the priority for improvement would be the bathrooms. There are all the amenities to have a good stay and Andrew was very responsive when we needed to turn on the boiler.

Charming cottage in a bucolic green setting. Pleasant walk after dinner in the evening, from the cottage, to Lake Lourbet, Friday morning market in Sainte-Livrade-Sur-Lot, and Terra Aventura (circuits with caches) very nice in Saint Pastour and also Gontaud-de-Nogaret. On site, the petanque court as well as the pool are a real plus. This cottage is great for a cousinade of 11 people.

Passing through for work, I chose this accommodation for its proximity to the south of Agen, for its tranquility and easy access. A nice little house where nothing is missing, with character in a beautiful little village. I recommend it.

if you're looking for rural, rustic with amazing views and enjoy the odd visit from a deer then this is the place for you. Emma was exceptionally accommodating and even invited us in her home for an Easter meal. Emma has great recommendations for.local and non local places. there are a lot of English who meet locally who Emma introduced us to and along with Emma we had lots of great times. the Gite is comfty and cosy and a brilliant typical French home surrounded by vines and woodlands and a short 2 mile walk to the local village. this is one of those places you'll revisit time and time again

Jon was a great host and supplied everything we needed, also really quick to answer any questions. The place was amazing and in great condition, really nice rural location with plenty of towns to explore nearby for day trips. We had a lovely week and a half staying there and exploring the local area! The house has everything you need and the pool table, swimming pool & BBQ are perfect for relaxing days staying in and enjoying the sunshine! Thanks Jon!

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

Very pleasant family stay, our host Brigitte living next to the accommodation was very welcoming and responsive to the slightest request. Everything is done to make you feel good, even coffee is provided, nothing is missing on the essentials, it's very appreciable! The pool, terrace and plancha area is a significant plus, even if it is a place shared with other tenants, it was a real advantage on the very hot days we had. 🥵 A place I recommend for its tranquility, its picturesque and original side.

Atmosphere and total immersion in the world of Tolkien County. Young and old met in this magical place straight out of a fairy tale and especially from the creative spirit of our hosts. What talents!! Thanks for the suspended moment

We had a lovely stay at Marie and Thomas's. The accommodation is very well equipped, perfect for children to have fun. The presence of the vegetable garden, chickens, all the outdoor amenities make the stay very pleasant for young and old alike. The natural pool is a great discovery. Marie and Thomas are very responsive hosts, which is nice. We thank them for our stay.

The B&B is in an annex of the Chateau de Costy, a beautiful building from bygone times. Marie France and her husband live there. The B&B is equipped with every conceivable kitchen utensil, so that the true cook can do his thing. However, it is not necessary because a 5-minute drive in Eymet is a variety of cheap restaurants. Beautiful swimming pool available for guests. Host and hostess are extremely nice and helpful, if needed. We extended our stay because we had a great time! Recommended!
