A beautiful house with almost secluded, large, garden with pool. You can relax there very nicely and get away from everyday life. The building is tastefully decorated. Overall, we were very satisfied. The access, especially the courtyard driveway, is very narrow. With a large sedan or SUV, you will have problems parking there.

Beautiful accommodation, well received, friendly people really lived up to our expectations, I would recommend it.

It's impossible to appreciate what a special house this is until you walk through the door. Every aspect of it is fascinating, beautiful and well conceived. Each of the five bedrooms have their own character and decoration and the design is beautiful. The kitchen is large and well stocked with equipment that made it easy to cook large meals. The garden is lovely and the pool has a clever cleaning system which we appreciated as we all had a swim. Lastly, the location is ideal being a short walk into town in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. A little piece of heaven! A Wow effect from the moment you arrive, between the cactus garden and the magnificent view of the mountains in front. The villa is tastefully decorated. Sylvie's villa was exactly as described. It was charming, private, and clean with all the modern conveniences even though it was an 18th century home. It bordered on a lovely park with many walking trails and places to rest and enjoy the calm. I would like to add a note of caution. There are many steps on the ground floor because of the sunken living room and the various levels of the rooms leading from it. The narrow winding stairway to the master bedroom is particularly treacherous for older guests like we were to navigate. But over all we particularly liked the ability to escape the hustle and bustle and tourists that flock to the center of Aix while still being close enough to walk into town. It was a very relaxing vacation.

We had such a lovely time in Les Baux staying at Agnès' place. The place was exactly (and as relaxing and beautiful) as described, a short 12-15 min walk up to the charming village. The weather was getting warm, so we enjoyed the pool, and the neighbor François helped Agnès to make sure the wind didn't blow too many leaves into the pool, and was helpful with recommendations and refilling our coffee capsules! The bedrooms are spacious and stay cool, and one has ensuite where the other 2 share a toilet and separate shower room. the beds are very comfortable, and we also used the laundry and drying racks to minimize what we had to pack dirty! We made daily breakfasts in their well stocked kitchen, and went to the bakery in Maussane for our daily bread. we also made dinner and enjoyed the range of dishes and glasses to enjoy aperatif and wine for dinner. Agnès met us as we headed out and was so kind to invite us back again. we hope to return!

A simply beautiful house, perfect for a group of friends… we loved spending time around the pool. The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. A big thank you to Marie who was very active and answered all my questions beforehand. I'd recommend it without a second thought.

We have a great stay here. The villa feels so secluded, nestled within surrounding pine trees. I would highly recommend to a family or group of friends, with ample space to entertain and relax!

Our stay at this enchanting family villa in the South of France was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the breathtaking landscape — endless rows of lush vineyards stretching as far as the eye could see, framed by the gentle hills of Provence.The villa itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Stone walls, wooden beams reminded us we were in the heart of authentic French countryside, while the interiors offered all the amenities a family could need — a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and cozy, beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged.Mornings began with family breakfasts around the large tables and ended with unforgettable sunsets and glasses of local wine under the stars. The private pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the outdoor dining area quickly became our favorite spot for long, leisurely meals. It was quiet, serene, and incredibly peaceful — TBC

Shiny Villa is a beautiful peaceful villa that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The photos and descriptions of the villa are accurate and the pool is clean. The villa is well maintained and private. It’s in a great location for exploring the villages and towns of the Provence, if you can drag yourself away from the fabulous pool. Sandrine is a super host, responsive and informative. There is a boulangerie and cafe in the village (5 minute walk) and supermarkets and other shops 10 minutes away by car. Our stay at Shiny Villa was a highlight of our travels around France.
