The holiday home "le Verbe" with private garden, so called by the former owner and writer Gerard Reve, is located at the foot of the picturesque old village of Le Poët-Laval with label "un des plus beaux villages de France" and the legend that there is always a ray of sunshine somewhere in the village. The authentic village house is within walking distance of a river with waterfall, some restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery,... The region also offers many cultural and sporting opportunities.

Cozy studio

Furnished with materials combining wood, metal and plaster, we welcome you to this little cocoon where you will find: a bed for 2 people in the living room and 2 beds in the mezzanine. 2 adults + children. Access to the dormitory is via a securely moored chestnut ladder. You will also have all the amenities for cooking (fridge, oven and ceramic hob). In this space, one room will remain private. Linens, pillowcases and towels not provided (€15/bed extra charge).

La Remise, my grandfather used to store his tractor there. Completely renovated, it has become a 90 m2 detached house with a 110 m2 fenced garden, mini pool & garage. A spacious living room, equipped kitchen, living room & mezzanine with 2 single beds. Bedroom 1: Queen size bed + balcony with table & chairs. Bedroom 2: 2 single beds. Bathroom & separate toilet. The house is classified 2 stars in tourist accommodation 4G data sharing for remote work

Ancien bâtiment agricole, cette maison de 75 m2 a entièrement été réhabilitée après 3 ans de travaux (fin des travaux juillet 2021) Cette rénovation a été faite avec beaucoup de soin, pour une prestation haut de gamme. Dans chacune des pièces la vue est saisissante, charmante ou encore aérienne… C’est un véritable petit nid d’aigle qui domine le village… mais les pieds dans l’eau… La rivière Roanne et ses piscines naturelles sont à 5 minutes à pied.

Located in an old traditional Ardèche farmhouse, it is a spacious and warm 3-star gîte. A 10-minute walk from a very beautiful river, it is the perfect starting point for many walks, bike rides, or donkey rides (rental on site). Village 500 m away (bar and grocery store). 20 minutes from Mont Gerbier de Jonc and 1 hour from Lac d'Issarlès. Bed linens and towels are provided. Beds are made upon arrival.
