Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Le Controis-en-Sologne

We had a great weekend with the family at Solange's! Her sister welcomed us with great kindness and was very available. Solange's house is charming and pleasant, with a personal decor (books, antique furniture, objects...) that changes sanitized furnished properties. Everything is left with confidence, in the kitchen for example, and it makes you want to take care of the home, or more than at home:) A mass stove completes the electric heating and brings authentic comfort. There is a pretty courtyard at the front of the house, and a garden in the back with a small wood, where we had the nice surprise of seeing twice a deer that must have its habits. Finally, the house is very well located for visiting the castles, starting with Chaumont/Loire 5 minutes away, Chenonceau 30 minutes away, Chambord 40 minutes away, etc. Thanks again Solange.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Christian provided detailed instructions and recommendations. Everything you might need is close by in the village i.e restaurants, ATMs. food markets etc. Moreover, the location is central to popular attractions in the area such as Chambord and Clemenceau. The apartment is spacious and would easily accommodate four people.

Magical. The house and yard are amazing. We stayed for 6 nights. Surrounded by fields of yellow flowers, the charming farm house has a beautiful cooks kitchen with an island that easily sat 6 people. Our young grandkids could not get enough of the swing set and toys that are available, while our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the ping-pong table. The yard space, with nice details, was extremely well kept. We ate outside and enjoyed wine on a bench under a beautiful tree. It was just perfect. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable and had great views of the countryside. Herve was very responsive and met us when we arrived. We were blown away by how beautiful this place is. It's better than the photos.

Martine's farmhouse is exceptional, much better than in the pictures! 3 spacious bedrooms, large living room with excellent kitchen, everything is well thought out, everything is clean and pretty, it's a cocoon in the middle of Sologne. We have rarely been so positively surprised both by the property and by Martine and Claude who are very welcoming, discreet, pleasant hosts with very good advice... Very hard to find better, we'll stay in touch! Thank you very much Martine and Claude, our week of the 31st is unforgettable! (for info also Cheverny and Chambord are less than 20 minutes away so the best!)

We stayed for one night in this home that totally reflects the Airbnb spirit, it is a family home with a soul. The bedding is comfortable and the house is in a very quiet area. This was a good fit for our need.

A week of visits to Chateaux and Beauval Zoo, this cottage is very well located We have 4 dogs, large grounds. Pétanque court, barbecue with veranda shelter, fireplace when it's cold with wood provided... Very nice apartment, spacious, bright, well-equipped and above all very conveniently located in the center of Blois. We were able to enjoy our short stay in Blois entirely on foot. Morgan was responsive and responded quickly to our messages. The instructions are perfectly clear and accurate. Thanks also for the restaurant suggestions in the area. The stay at Marie's was perfect. The apartment "Le Duc de Guise" matches the photos, very cozy, well decorated and clean. We were able to visit the Chateau de Chambord and Chenonceau and visit Blois that we did not know. I recommend it without a problem! Morgane

A lovely house in a very peaceful part of the Loire valley. Great garden and pool for kids and adults alike. Very relaxing place to spend a week. Whilst simply decorated, everything was clean and worked well. Very well equipped kitchen plus dishwasher so that made life easy! Would recommend to 2-3 families as lots of space

Great weekend spent with the family. The house is a haven of peace in the heart of the wooded property. Wherever you are in the house, the view of nature is highlighted. Very warm welcome from Elodie and Rodolphe. The place is exceptional and very spacious, we were 5 families and everyone had their own space. There is plenty to do in the villa: billiards, foosball, jacuzzi, arcade game, console, ping pong table, petanque, in short everything is there to have a pleasant time. You can even take a walk in the woods safely. The dining room table was great so we could all eat at the same time; which is rare. Thank you +++ for the delicious bottle of white and for the candy provided. We will gladly go back, maybe more in the summer to enjoy the pool. Thanks again Elodie and Rodolphe!!!
