Upscale and spacious cottage with stunning scenery! The cottage is atmospheric and well-equipped – even a warm milk frother can be found. I've been at this cabin years ago in the summer as well. Now in the spring, the location doesn't feel quite as private as it was blocking the leaves in the summer, but despite that, the cottage was hippy-hush, and I also didn't see anyone (except the swans and their goings).

We found this house perfect for a "workation", as we enjoyed the beautiful lake and the garden, as well as the living room for working from our laptops. There's an amazing amount of natural light, the house has warm colors, and nice plants. We recommend trying the boat, it's very fun.

Thanks for a wonderful and refreshing stay at your place in Helsinki. The view from the window was gorgeous and peaceful and the surrounding area was lovely to walk around... we even found an amazing local cafe nearby (Villa Ullas)! Maarit and Yariv were super helpful with checking in and general standard of communication. I hope we can visit again sometime.

Newly renovated apartment at the heart of Helsinki

Thank you for our home for the month of January in Helsinki. The apartment was cozy, peaceful and had everything we needed to feel at home. The city centre is easily walkable from the apartment and there's some great cafés very close by, Rams was our favourite. The Alepa across the road has a great selection of groceries too. Within minutes you can be walking along the harbour too. Highly recommend a stay here, we'll definitely be returning. Thanks.

We were able to relax superbly in the Marius cottage by the water. Every day the deer say good morning and we were able to go out with the rowboat. The sauna is great. There are lots of pans and ways to barbecue. There is no cooking option, but a kettle and microwave are available. It was a great fit for us. Mariu is helpful and was always available for questions. We will be happy to come back.

Sirke was a superb host, she was very caring, answered our questions and was very quick with her responses. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped and the view is absolutely amazing! We can sea the see, small islands around and the Uspenski cathedral is also visible from the terrace. There is a lot if light, large windows and modern and stylish furniture. There is good connection to the city centre and also to the airport. Public transport in Helsinki is very good. The apartment is in a newish neighborhood, everything is beautiful around. I highly recommend this apartment!

We had a wonderful stay at Anssi's apartment. It was very clean and well equipped and we enjoyed using the sauna. Anssi was very helpful with our questions before we arrived and even helped me by checking the apartment when I thought I had left a jumper behind after we left. It turned out that I hadn't left it behind anyway.

I enjoyed staying at Seija’s apartment so so much. Her instructions were clear, I had no problem at all from the airport to her apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy, it just looks exactly as the pictures shown and the description mentioned. Tram #1 and tram #6 with stops very close to the apartment. It’s easy to get to the city center! She was also responsive. Furthermore, the private sauna is a bonus, I enjoyed it a lot. I felt refreshed after the sauna every day. I will definitely choose Seija’s apartment again if I visit Helsinki! Thanks Seija! :)

This was an ideal place for us to stay while we adjusted to the time-zone change and explored Helsinki on foot. It is just minutes from the waterfront, which is a great running route and swimming location. The wonderful sauna Loyly is a ten-minute walk and full of interesting people. Now we understand why the Finns love saunas! Melina’s condo is lovely in all respects, well appointed, and in a venerable picture-post-card worthy building. Melina is a responsive and caring host. The kitchen-living room has very high ceilings, giving a feeling of spaciousness. The bathroom is compact and the ceiling in part of the bedroom slopes down, but these are minor inconveniences more than offset by the many positive attributes. We would gladly stay here again.

I highly recommend Mervi's lovely apartment ...beautifully decorated and comfortable living, plus very quiet as it looks onto an inner courtyard. In particular, the apartment is in the gorgeous waterfront Ullanlinna/Eira district, with easy tram connections or walking to the city centre. If you like small galleries/museum I recommend taking the tram/bus to Villa Gyllenberg.

We stayed at Salla’s place for five months due to renovations in our apartment, along with our cats, and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, a great coffee machine, and a fantastic location. The big, comfy bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable stay!

We spent the Christmas days in this wonderful apartment in Helsinki and it was just perfect! The location is unbeatable, with great public transport connections, so we could explore the city in a relaxed way. The apartment itself was bright, open and very cozy – just the place to retreat after a day of adventure. Especially in the winter cold, we really appreciated the great sauna and balcony. It was so nice to enjoy the sauna after a long walk through the city! Communication with Alviina was excellent – she always responded quickly and was very helpful. Check-in and check-out were also completely straightforward. We couldn't ask for a better place for our Christmas days!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment! It was perfect for a family of five— 3 sleeping rooms, very clean, and well-equipped. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the city center and the beautiful cathedral. During our stay, we also visited Allas Sea Pool, which was an amazing experience. It was my first time trying a sauna in Finland, and it’s truly worth it. The place has three different saunas and two pools — one of them filled with seawater, which was quite an experience to jump into! The apartment is about a 15-minute walk from the central train station, making it really convenient for day trips to other cities like Tampere, Turku, and Fiskars. We were very lucky with our trip and really enjoyed every moment. Katariina was fantastic — super friendly, helpful with recommendations, and everything was clearly explained. The apartment itself was not only nice and clean but also very practical. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Modern style home in a beautiful and peaceful location. Great design elements including furniture and floor to ceiling windows. We loved relaxing with the tranquil views and enjoyed time on the lovely covered deck area. It was wonderful to eat outside even when occasionally drizzling and not worry about getting wet. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We were able to buy all of the food we needed at the tiny market a couple of blocks from the home.

We stayed at the apartment for 1 month, when my husband received treatment at the Docrates hospital. We thought the apartment was very well equipped with all the amenities that you want + a little more. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to take advantage of the amazing terrace, we were there at the end of March-April. We can't think of any better accommodation for a long time. We also thought our host was a real super host, Flexible, quick when we had requests.

It was a great cottage to have a great vacation.I needed a little trick to lighting the firewood, which was difficult, but it was good because I was able to have a valuable experience.Iris is very kind and speaks polite English.I was relieved that I could always ask if I had any questions.

This was one of the best place we have stayed in in Helsinki and we come almost every month. We absolutely loved it, the flat is beautiful and really well furnished, modern but welcoming. It feels homey and is really comfortable. It is located in a really nice area, close to the sea but 5min. by tram to the city center and the tram is about 25m. from the door. Edward was a great host, very reactive and accommodating. We are already planning to come back here as much as we can in the coming months :)
