Townhome vacation rentals in Launceston City Council

Balfour St is the ideal city location with ease of access to main arterials, the Tamar and airport. Di has created a fabulous urban getaway that reflects her obvious interior decor talents (with her shop conveniently downstairs if you HAVE to own the quality flax linen sheets you sleep on in the apartment). Future travellers need to be aware that the ensuite/toilet is fully open to the bedroom, which could be challenging with two couples sharing, but not a bother for us as we booked both rooms/bathrooms. An unexpected find for us was the 1808 rum/cocktail bar in Charles St, just around the corner, with a great bar snacks menu and cocktail list - we spent a memorable (warm) late afternoon hour there following a big day out at Josef Chromy restaurant (fabulous!) and Cataract Gorge after a short wander around the beautiful heritage buildings in surrounding streets. Wouldn't hesitate booking again as it's a real standout property.

The house was warm and comfortable throughout, and we had everything we needed during the stay. It was very clean when we arrived. We also appreciated the high standard of everything in the house, even down to small details. It's clear that a lot of care has gone into making the place welcoming and well-equipped. The views - both during the day and the night - were stunning, and the location near Cataract Gorge made it even more special. Wayne was very friendly and responsive, which made everything even easier. Thank you for everything Wayne :)

Beautiful home felt very homey when we walked in, this is my second time staying close to restaurants & Hosp and the city. Very comfy beds slept well, showers just take a bit to warm up but otherwise a great stay for a girls trip.

The house was very comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size, the lounge room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It was a short drive into the city centre, so location was good for us. We would stay here again.

I had a great stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed. Sid and July were incredibly respectful and helpful, offering great local recommendations.

I stayed at the property with my teenagers and had the best weekend in Launceston. The house was so warm and comfortable with everything you could have wished for. The beds were comfortable, the shower was amazing and the house had such a beautiful energy. It was an easy walk into town with everything at your fingertips. We’d all highly recommend renting this place and we’ll definitely be back.

I can't give enough stars to this accomodation and host! What an amzing apartment that was perfect for our needs teavelling with my adult daughter with the rwo bedrooms and bathrooms. Tge layout gave us our iwn space too with the patio a perfect spot to sit and relax. Easy walking to restaurants, cafes, shops, parks and attractions. As others have commented the parking is a tight fit but having the spot was a welcome bonus with our car. Angela was very friendly and proactive in her communication and I would most definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful neat and well planned out property with everything and more to make you feel right at home. It was cozy and yet spacious. Spotlessly clean, and lots of little things that make a house feel homely. The location was high up among the trees with a lovely view over Launceston, yet just a few minutes drive from the city. We were very reluctant to leave our little nest. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
