Vacation rentals with breakfast in Launceston City Council

This was by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot)! This charming little purple cottage (with purple flower touches!) felt like home from the moment we walked in. It had so much charm and character - converted fireplaces in almost every room, beautiful polished timber floorboards, chandeliers, plants and every creature comfort you could imagine (the most comfy beds, heated floors and towel rack in bathroom, divine double oven, games, the works!). There was also a gorgeous backyard with entertaining areas and the location was a short walk to Charles St cafes, Coles and the city. But what truly sets this place apart is the host Karen. Her communication from the get go was second to none and we couldn’t have asked for more with what she left us for our stay - fresh bread, wine, breakfast provisions, treats. She truly went above and beyond and ensured my mum (who doesn’t travel much) and my sister and I had the best holiday! Would return back in a heartbeat!

Very comfortable stay in Riverside, which was a good launch pad to explore greater Launceston and the Tamar Valley. Melissa had a lot of ideas and recommendations for activities which were helpful, and she also had an extensive folder of local information in the unit for guests to browse. Melissa and her family were very friendly and made me feel at home. Great for a solo traveler or a couple.

This was only an overnight stay and a very last minute booking. Kayes was very responsive and accommodating. The space was pristine, quiet, private, the surrounds beautifully rural. Kaye had a wonderful selection of teas, coffees, spreads & cereals which I really appreciated. I felt this air BnB was a lucky find. Kaye is a really lovely host

The Black House felt like a home away from home. Had everything you could possibly need for a long stay. Very attentive/helpful host. The interior design was impeccable and very modern. 10/10 would recommend.

All of it is perfect. The location is excellent, the house is clean and has everything you need, and the host is truly wonderful.

Our bridal party had such a beautiful couple of days here. The host went above and beyond with all the small details. Super fast at responding to my questions, made lovely local recommendations and messaged me as soon as the room was ready. Can’t recommend enough - we’ll be back!

This was our first experience sharing a house with hosts, and we never imagined we would enjoy it this much. Our stay at Mag and Nick’s charming cottage was nothing short of perfect, we honestly felt so sad to leave! The place was incredibly clean, with a super comfy bed that made it easy to rest after long days of exploring. We had our own separate toilet, and while the bathroom was shared, it was spotless and cleaned every day. What truly made this stay special were Mag and Nick. They are such fun, welcoming hosts who made us feel completely at home during our 4-night stay. Every evening, we’d return to the cozy living room, sip tea by the fire place, and share stories and laughs with them. Those conversations were some of our favorite moments. Breakfasts were a highlight too. So thoughtful and delicious! The cottage is in a peaceful area yet close to everything you might need. We’ll definitely be back and can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The Madiba apartment is a gem in the Launceston CBD. Spacious, airy and light, it is very generous accommodation for a couple. It has absolutely everything you need and is tastefully done with a couch that will live long in the memory. Just a stone's throw from the fantastic Harvest Market, it is walkable to everything the town has to offer.

Great spacious unit with all the amenities you need for a short stay. Quiet location only a short drive from the CBD and waterfront

Our stay was fantastic. Great spot to stay for a couple of nights while doing things in Launceston. Very central. The breakfast was an added bonus and was just what we needed:)

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the Tamar River, yet close to everything. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely modern decor, spotless and everything we needed. Extensive continental breakfast supplied for our 2 night stay. Welcoming port and chocolates appreciated. Information booklet very helpful. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Launceston and its surrounds.

My best airbnb experience to date. Keryn and Andrew were the most incredible hosts. Communication was amazing and super flexible when our flight times were changed, not to mention the thoughtful extra bits and pieces that made our stay even easier. The accommodation was in an absolutely perfect location, walking distance to everything in town and right across the road from a beautiful park. Nice and quite and had everything you could possibly think of needing. Can't recommend this enough, super lucky to find it.

Studio 3 is a beautiful apartment, very private, cosy and comfortable. The location is quiet and private, surrounded by leafy streets and lovely views of Launceston. I enjoyed the short walk to the CBD and found it a great base to explore the city and region. Jacqui was a fabulous host, great communication, local knowledge and very thoughtful touches including fresh milk, butter, bread, fresh coffee and Easter eggs were greatly appreciated on a long weekend when shops were closed. I absolutely loved my stay, it felt like home and I enjoyed the slow mornings and cosy evenings in the apartment and outdoor patio. The kitchenette was well equipped and the washer/dryer was fantastic. Highly recommend to solo travellers and couples.

Lovely inner city apartment. Very homely and so comfortable. Nice welcome basket which included essentials for morning. Loved having a wine on the balcony on an evening enjoying the city views. Thank you Kate will recommend to friends & family. Joan

It all started when you called out at us while we were unpacking our car, “are you the two vegans?”. We knew then and there that we are home! We genuinely appreciate the clean room, labelled everything (felt like heaven) and the most delicious, yummy and healthy vegan dinner you fed us. Wish we stayed here longer. Thankyou for having us! Second time i've stayed here - same room. Very close to the airport, easy check in, very comfortable bed and great amenities. Loved the welcome goodies in the fridge and having access to all you need in the communal kitchen. Only thing i would say is noise from the nearby highway and guests in the kitchen - I'm a light sleeper so thats probably just me. Overall, great stay and lots of thought has gone into this place! Especially the welcome booklet - very handy local recommendations.

Eliza was very kind and friendly. The room was so clean pretty cosy and beautiful with overlooking the garden. Adorable welcoming doggies 🐕 Really loved my stay in this room.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Julie’s Garden Room. The room was clean, cosy and very well thought out. We really appreciated all of the effort Julie put into the smaller details. We also really appreciated the delicious breakfast that was provided. We highly recommend Julie’s place as a great base for exploring Launceston and surrounds.

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay. My review echoes many of those before me.. we wanted for nothing. Talia is a wonderful host and offered us flexibility around check in and out times which was really appreciated! Bath was divine and the daily visit by all the chickens very entertaining. A most lovely stay and highly recommend!

It was such a lovely BnB to stay in, we were welcomed like old friends returning. Lots of recommendations of local restaurants and things to do made it really easy to book into great restaurants before we arrived. Breaky each day was delicious and plentiful!!

The Dragonfly Inn is possibly one of the cutest places I have stayed in. It's so homey and quaint and they have thought of everything, adding many personal and thoughtful touches to add to your experience of staying there. Would stay again, no question.

Andre and Linda were super hospitable, making us feel very at home. The room was immaculate and beautifully presented. Kurrajong House is ideally located to explore Launceston with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Andre's breakfast was an added bonus, with plenty to choose from including lovely homemade products. Will definitely look to stay here again upon our next visit to Launceston. Thank you for having us!
