Unique opportunity to stay directly on the pier and just 3 meters from the waterfront in the iconic Bjarke Ingels building on the newly built Aarhus Island. Wi-Fi and private parking space included. In good weather, the harbor promenade just outside is well visited. Cozy and well-utilized bathhouse with sleeping loft. Fantastic, south-facing, 180-degree panoramic views of the water, harbor and city skyline. Small living at its best - perfect for couples or business travelers. The kitchen with electric kettle and fridge - not possible to cook hot food.

A completely unique view over the sky mountain lake Julsø, with a background of the most beautiful hilly landscape. From the apartment's own terrace, you can follow the life of the lake in a multitude of different birds, and everything from kayaks to ferries. Beautiful hikes, MTB trails, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus , the station is only 400 meters from the apartment. There is no internal staircase between the floors, and there is a private entrance to the apartment.

Small, simple and idyllic annex with the kitchen

In the house in a village with a stream in the garden, you enter a small, simply furnished annex. The annex is next to the carport and property. The creek can be seen from the window. Garden table and chairs can be moved and follow the sun if you want. Food can be made in simple kitchen. There are 2 hot plates. Service, pots ect. Dishwashing is done in a basin, where water is collected from the bathroom. Bonfire food can be made in a garden. Gas grill is available. This is a small single annex where you sleep in a good 3/4 bed.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Lovely apartment in rural surroundings, located in the lake highlands, in the middle of Aarhus and Silkeborg. From the apartment there is a great view to the south and west. It is possible to use our fire pit, firewood is included. There is a private terrace with morning sun. We have a large herb garden , so during the season there is a possibility to get fresh vegetables. On the farm there are horses, cows, chickens and turkeys.
