Vacation rentals with a patio in Las Hurdes

For our first Airbnb experience Casa Rurales managed by Paula was above and beyond what we would have imagined. Barco de Avila is a small, quaint town with the magic of its castle, river, and better yet, its people. Everyone seems to know everyone. As visitors, even with instructions, we got a little lost. We were helped by very nice locals & Paula welcomed us from the street. On the outside, Casa Rurales has a mixture of rustic with modern. Inside, while modern, it is homey, cozy, and spacious. As it was cool during our visit, Paula had a fire burning in the fireplace in the living room. She gave us a tour of the kitchen (fully stocked with everything to cook with, eat on, eat with), the interior yard (table, chairs, grill), and three rooms, each with their own bathroom. Paula also left us a list of places to visit and eat. Unfortunately, we were staying very little time. We look forward to our next visit, hopefully with more time. If available, we will stay here again in the future.

Patricia and Oscar were great hosts, very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We had a great star at their place, which was sparkling clean and beautiful. Definitely, we’ll come back.

Everything's great, a very well located place if you want to get away from the city, easy to enter the apartment, the layout and the kitchen are well-equipped, the only downside is that it could use a small oven.

Roomy, quiet apartment in a local area. Plenty of space with a separate lounge, big bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. A couple of cafes and bars in the area, all simple and well priced. The town is very historical, check out the church from the 12th century. Also the Pottery Museum is well worth a visit. And no crowds of tourists!! Salamance is a short easy drive and has lots of beautiful buildings. We visited the Casa Lis, an Art Nouveau, Art Deco Museum (free entry on Thursdays for a few hours), absolutely magnificent!! I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see in this area. And Daniels place was a perfect base for our party of four adults. Btw third bedroom has single and trundle bed.... Highly recommended 👌

Our stay was one week and we were able to enjoy a lot of calm, good landscapes and country trails 2 minutes from the house. Soledad sends you a lot of information about routes, towns and restaurants and is available 24/7. It never took more than a few minutes to answer any messages I sent during my stay. Our butane tank ran out and in 20 minutes we had it changed. The place is very well maintained and the facilities are of good quality. They even have the thoughtfulness to have things like salt and pepper, scented candles or Tupperware at your disposal. Everything you need to live with the essentials for a few days. Small tip for future customers: if you stay longer than 2 or 3 days I recommend leaving the shower towels to dry outside the bathroom, since it is a very humid room and they will get a little musty. Overall, it was a very quiet and relaxing stay, a nice change from city life.

The village is very quiet, there was movement when we were there during Holy Week and the views are beautiful, as a suggestion there is not much coverage in the accommodation, I recommend downloading series or movies beforehand in case you get bored 😅😂

We had a wonderful time at Paloma's place, surrounded by beautiful nature and the sounds of birdsong. It is the perfect place to relax, go for long walks, and explore the Gredos mountains. Paloma provided clear instructions and lots of local information. Our only regret is not having been able to stay longer.

Staying in a house rehabilitated with so much taste and comfort, far from the city and the rush, offered us to be able to disconnect and enjoy as much as we had dreamed as a couple. Away from the village of Barco de Ávila enough to not be any obstacle approach shopping, eating or visiting the town and enjoying staying in the middle of the sierra in complete tranquility and intimacy.

We spent three days at Cuca's house, we had a great time, everything was clean, the house was warm when we arrived, Toñi was super friendly and they were there for whatever you need, the sofa bed was very comfortable, it's like a good bed, we'll stay here again if we come back for sure, thank you!!

Very nice and comfortable house, to visit at any time of year, fireplace and heating system throughout the house. Spacious rooms, recommended to be with family and friends, 4 bedrooms for 8 people. The kitchen is very equipped and with everything you need, cutlery, dishes, fountains.. a pantry with a pantry apart from the fridge in the kitchen. We have not been able to enjoy the outdoor area for the dates, but in good weather the porch, patio with barbecue and small pool should be very well. Highly recommended

Natalia's house is impressive, it exceeded our expectations. The setting is ideal, we spent a family weekend and we couldn't have been better! The house has everything you need, it doesn't lack any detail. Natalia was very attentive to us and Angelita is charming, very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. We definitely made the right choice in choosing her house to spend the weekend.

Very clean apartment with a small terrace and equipped kitchenette in a quite street. Parking is possible directly in front of the apartment. The location is perfect for getting to national park (10 mins). The host was very friendly and welcoming, lacking of English skills, but we managed everything with google translator. Recommended for - not only - bird lovers!

We decided to go out a few days with Lluc and Ona, our pets, away from the noise of these days in our town. Before we arrived we already loved the location and the accommodation of the same, but when we arrived we were amazed. From the first moment, Cristóbal has been very flexible both at the entrance and at the exit of the stay it was super pending both from us and Lluc and Ona, in addition to Ona it has been great to socialize with Maui. The place had the ideal space, more than enough for us, amazing views from the terrace and a very cozy garden we've enjoyed. He also provided us with a lot of information about the possibilities of visiting in the surroundings and surroundings, incredible recommendations, and always making sure that nothing will be missing. We were able to disconnect a ⛰️🌿 lot.Recommable 100%, and we are clear that we will repeat at other times of the year. Thank you very much Cristóbal for everything!!

A quiet apartment, Natalia had it very hot with the stove on. In the bathroom I had a Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi and stove, a perfect plan for a Saturday that was rainy. The beautiful village, quiet and very friendly people. I usually travel to rural areas and it's one of the best apartments I've found.

Charming and cozy apartment. Clean and organized. Located in downtown Cabezabellosa, a very nice town located in the middle of the mountains with a spectacular viewpoint. We would go back again. Natalia is always very attentive. Ideal for hiking and walking among the cherry trees.

We found Alba on site to wait for us with a big smile, she helped me pack a very heavy suitcase, very nice, her adorable child, the place matches the photos, very clean apartment. Very quiet and peaceful place. I didn't really enjoy the village because I only stayed one day. If you like hiking, this is the perfect place, as villagers love to hike Next time 😊👌 And thank you again Alba
