Winter living beach cottage with amenities

We enjoyed a long weekend in privacy with a beautiful cottage and the opening and sauna crowned the experience. Beautiful pristine nature around was also reassuring, and in the wintertime, there were no other cottages around, so we got the peace we needed at the cottage. Johanna was very friendly and proactive about our stay. We'd love to stay at the listing again.

Our stay was wonderful and very peaceful. The sauna and the lake are to die for and the cabin ist really cozy. The breakfast was also perfect and we were really sad to leave! Pirjo and Kimmo are super friendly and had great recommendations for the area aswell (try the „Vety“ or „Atomi“ on the market in Lappeenranta :))

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have ever stayed. Helena has created an amazing space, we loved waking up right next the lake in our cosy hut, having access to a sauna and being able to swim/boat on the lake. The dogs were friendly too (including a very cute puppy!). We would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Mirkas lake cottage. The cottage was comfy and cute, and the small island was just big enough for us. Everythig was just as described and Mirka provided very helpful advices before and during our days. We enjoyed candlelight-evenings, silence and of course sauna ❤ and saw the most beautiful nightsky with numerous stars, away from city lights.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame a serene view of the lake, inviting natural light into the space. Wooden furniture, including chairs and tables, creates a relaxed atmosphere. Outside, a wooden deck extends towards the water, where individuals can be seen strolling along the shoreline.

We loved our Easter Getaway at Pistohiekka Resort. Incredible views, felt right at home and knew whenever we had a question someone was there to help or support over message. The restaurant offers a small but tasty menu, stunning view of lake Saimaa and nice atmosphere. We hope to return again during summer.

Great place to stay! We were a group of 5 ppl and 3 dogs and it was perfect for our new years get away from fireworks and loud city sounds. Still a few random fireworks before midnight but nothing crazy, so perfect for our needs. The sauna was a great size, the home was well equipped for lots of people, plenty of dishes and table space. The outside area and deck are also great for groups. There are a few other cabins/trailers in the same area so it’s not completely private, but it was still quiet. Great place to stay. Important to note: no freezer and outside grill is shared amongst other cabins.
