Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lappeenranta

We enjoyed a long weekend in privacy with a beautiful cottage and the opening and sauna crowned the experience. Beautiful pristine nature around was also reassuring, and in the wintertime, there were no other cottages around, so we got the peace we needed at the cottage. Johanna was very friendly and proactive about our stay. We'd love to stay at the listing again.

The property is just as great as the photos suggest and Pirjo the most amazing hostess - we couldn't have been happier! We were greeted with great warmth and enjoyed the steam of an idyllic lakeside sauna, a summer night sup trip, and best of all, a delicious breakfast in a beautiful garden with the hostess, improving the world. Big recommendations for Pirjo and his lovely place to stay, where all the details are carefully thought out!

Our stay was wonderful and very peaceful. The sauna and the lake are to die for and the cabin ist really cozy. The breakfast was also perfect and we were really sad to leave! Pirjo and Kimmo are super friendly and had great recommendations for the area aswell (try the „Vety“ or „Atomi“ on the market in Lappeenranta :))

We had a lovely stay at Mirkas lake cottage. The cottage was comfy and cute, and the small island was just big enough for us. Everythig was just as described and Mirka provided very helpful advices before and during our days. We enjoyed candlelight-evenings, silence and of course sauna ❤ and saw the most beautiful nightsky with numerous stars, away from city lights.

Great place to stay! We were a group of 5 ppl and 3 dogs and it was perfect for our new years get away from fireworks and loud city sounds. Still a few random fireworks before midnight but nothing crazy, so perfect for our needs. The sauna was a great size, the home was well equipped for lots of people, plenty of dishes and table space. The outside area and deck are also great for groups. There are a few other cabins/trailers in the same area so it’s not completely private, but it was still quiet. Great place to stay. Important to note: no freezer and outside grill is shared amongst other cabins.

Very nice stay, comfortable villa, lovely private deck to the lake, 2 boats+kayaking. Polina is very communicative and patient. 5 star!
