We thoroughly enjoyed coming ‘home’ after a day of activities to the house. The sauna warms you up immediately. Evenings are too short when watching your favourite show on the home cinema. The kitchen is super equipped. Everything is available. Great place for relaxing.

Thanks for having us in your wonderful lakeview-cabin. The view is spectacular and the whole villa was perfectly designed to have enough room for everyone. We had a brilliant stay in Lapland and did all the amazing things we planned. Even the northern lights showed for some times in the evenings. All in all: highly recommended for a private stay!

This was a great place to stay for groups! Good amount of living space to hang out and spend time. The Sauna was lovely to use each night, especially as we came in winter when it was still snowing and cold! It’s a bit of a walk into town, so as long as you’re ok with that or have a car or use taxis. But the walk is easy and you get to see some of the scenery. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay and Daria was lovely!

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

Another wonderful stay at Meeri and Paula’s beautiful villa. The location is magical and the villa itself is perfect. We’ve stayed in some fantastic places through Airbnb over the years but this is really something exceptional. Paula and Meeri are great hosts and we were made to feel very much at home. We were very sad to leave and hope to return again soon!

The place is even better than it looks in the photos. It has all the living essentials, and we are all very satisfied.

The Villa is perfectly located, within walking distance of Ruka and in the middle of nature. The accommodation is well equipped and we could easily find our place with a group of 10 people. The surroundings are really beautiful, the view from the living room is breathtaking and at a small distance you can walk beautifully (small and large loop + kotta). Jussi responds quickly and even on small issues (we didn't know how the sauna works very well) he was available.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was beautiful! We got to see the northern lights from the Jacuzzi on the porch! We will definitely stay here again!

The villa was beautiful, modern and clean. amazing picture windows to look out over the forest and incredibly cosy. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with everything we needed to cook and entertain for the 12 of us and plenty of spare room for the kids to have their own space downstairs. The slopes are definitely walkable, but ski in ski out is cross country only, the walk was however, easy and picturesque so who cares! Id highly reccomend this place if you are looking for classic Finland, cosy retreats, red wine and log fires. The resort was also great but id reccomend a car to go slightly further afield also. All in all another amazing stay in Finland for half term.

we stayed at Tea's house just before Christmas and it was amazing. the atmosphere was so cosy, we didn't want to leave! Tea was super attentive and she was so kind to leave a hot chocolate station for the kids, which they loved! the house was warm and welcoming with everything you need.

Peaceful very well-stocked house, Jaana is a lovely hostess who immediately responded to all messages. Everything went smoothly!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning new log villa on the shores of Lake Rukajärvi, and it was an experience beyond compare. This property combines the best of both modern luxury and natural beauty, offering an exceptional getaway. The serene lakeside setting provides a peaceful escape while still being close to all the action. The design of the villa is both elegant and functional. Downstairs features two spacious bedrooms, a separate toilet, a utility room, and a well-appointed bathroom with two showers and a sauna. The highlight of the downstairs area is the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space, which is crowned by an impressive 6-meter room height and a full glass end wall offering panoramic lake views. The house is perfect, the lake is a dream place for aurora watching, and meeting reindeer ! Ilkka is of great help to organize activities. I would highly recommend this place.

Gorgeous Airbnb and one of the cleanest we have been in. Walkable to the main town. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

This was a super place to stay with my 3 kids (11/9/13). The place was super clean and relaxing. Satu was always available for questions and really responsive. The view is amazing and we saw the northern lights when we went for a walk on the (very quiet) road. Would defiantly return!
