Pleasantly warm thanks to underfloor heating and never hot in summer due to good insulation and shady trees!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Jameln is centrally located in Wendland. Our house (108 square meters) used to be the laboratory house of the old dairy. It combines an old facade with modern coziness. Here you can relax and escape everyday life. Kitchen and bathroom with underfloor heating, living room with fireplace. After a visit to the Elbtalaue, Dannenberg, Hitzacker or Lüchow, you can stop in at the local restaurant in the "Altes Haus" in Jameln or end the evening with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace.

In nur zwei Gehminuten seid ihr am schönen Elbstrand oder dem Marktplatz mit kleinen Cafés und Stöbergeschäften. Mit der Fahrradfähre seid ihr in 5 Minuten auf der anderen Elbseite von wo aus euch ein angenehm befahrbarer Radweg immer den Fluss entlang führt. P.s. Welcome to our cottage on the Elbe dyke! Our house and the detached guest house were built in 2021. The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

The apartment has a large and cozy living area with an integrated kitchen. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed. As an option for another sleeping place, a sofa bed is available in the living room. Two more mattress sleeping places are on the upper level. The bright and spacious bathroom has a shower and toilet. The apartment is located on the upper floor of our house. A sunny seating area with a grill is available in the garden.

During your stay with us, you will live in a lovingly restored, spacious construction trailer with a terrace and garden area. It is also set up for long stays. In winter, it is heated with wood and briquettes and it quickly becomes cozy and warm. Fluent cold water is available in the wagon only in the frost-free time! Horses can be brought, 1 hectare. Coupling directly on the car. Bathroom area and sauna are 50 m from the main house.

Wi-Fi is available! The WHG has everything you need for a short break! A lockable room is available for the bicycles. E-bikes can also be charged here! In summer, you can go swimming in the Elde-Müritz Canal. Shopping in 5 minutes by bike.
