His instructions were very clear and he took the time to contact us during our stay to ask us if everything was going well. I recommend this cottage to people looking for a quiet and warm place. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location by the water is simply exceptional, unparalleled serenity. The spa and hot tub were a real treat, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house is equipped with modern and functional appliances, making our stay even more comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean, and the responsiveness of the hosts made all the difference. We will come back without hesitation!

We stayed at this place for two nights and had a good experience overall. The cottage was modern in design and was given to us clean and tidy. However, we encountered two issues. First, the house did not have laundry detergent and paper towels, which could be easily addressed. More importantly, the cottage does not have direct access to the lake. It is located on the upper side of the road, while the lake is on the lower side. To reach the lake, you need to cross the road and go through another property. This was not what we expected based on the photos, as the road was not shown in them.

Beautiful round wooden chalet on three floors. We enjoyed the spa, the fire pit, the small semi-private lake and the children's toys!

This place was perfect for a relaxing getaway, especially for coffee nerds (the coffee bar is such a highlight)! The views were great, and the hot tub was a dream. The host was also fantastic - so gracious, responsive, and genuinely great vibes. A tiny external issue was handled incredibly well. Highly recommend for a chill trip!

Fantastic cabin retreat in the fall for visiting family in the area. The river is beautiful and accessible from the dock. The stairs to the dock need repair but we were able to enjoy non-the-less. Superb rental! We hope to return someday!

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful experience at "Le Pod"! ^^ We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin and the beauty of the forested trails. We want to thank Jean-François for his hospitality of offering the service of bringing our luggage to and from the cabin, giving us the opportunity of a relaxing and burden-free stroll to our lodging. The walk from the parking to the cabin created an off the grid vibe and was totally worth it, especially with our furry friend. We had access to sleds, which was an unexpected bonus! There was plenty of woods provided to keep the fire burning and some candles for extra light after sunset. We were also provided with 36 liters of water for our 3 nights stay. We had the chance to pass by a few of his other cabins and were impressed by the ingenuity and practicality behind Jean-François' handmade architectural projects. We highly recommend visiting "Le Pod" or any other of "Chalet du Jolimont"! The memories made here are priceless 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had a great stay here for a weekend getaway. The listing was exactly described, and more! The hosts were very proactive and we knew everything to be ready for in advance of the stay. We will definitely look for this property again for our next weekend retreat!

Great place, wonderfull chalet, wanted to stay longer

Enjoyed our stay, my boy and I. A well-built cottage, with everything you need already there (stove, plates, saucepan etc...). Great peace and a very nice place to be able to walk and recharge, with attractions nearby. Really perfect. The wood burning stove is very efficient. 🙂

I wish that the cabin had been available for a longer duration during our availability. I can see this as being a great place to get away from the city to relax. Real log cabin feel and smell of wood walls, so clean and de-cluttered. I can see evenings spent playing cards and listening to the forest sounds. Very relaxing.

Throughout our stay, she was extremely responsive and always available whenever we had questions or needed clarifications. Her service truly went above and beyond, making our trip even more special. We had an excellent time and would highly recommend this beautiful nook to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for escape!

Great adventure camping spot. My partner and I have been twice now. Both times in February when it is snowy and peaceful. We enjoyed the snowshoeing trails and the sauna. I highly recommend reading the survival guide to help prepare for the visit. Our host was very communicative and gave us lots of helpful details. We liked our visit and intend to return.

Cozy cabin with wood-burning stove, well cut pass. Also the cabin was comfortable during the harsh cold and snow. I’d do warn though, that this place is a campsite, bathrooms are outside of the stay. But no worries the distance is not far at all.
