I stayed here for two weeks and honestly didn’t want to leave. The house is so beautifully decorated every corner feels intentional, personal, and full of character — even better than the already beautiful pictures. It somehow always smelled fresh and lovely too. Pretty clear that someone poured love into this space. The neighbourhood is just as special. Peaceful and safe, with charming little parks around every corner and plenty to explore when you feel like wandering. And of course, Izzy & James were super kind and helpful all throughout. They made the whole stay feel easy and warm, kinda like visiting the home of friends who really know how to host. 10/10. Truly unforgettable. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

This is a lovely peaceful place to stay , it’s warm, spacious , comfortable and has everything you need. So great to be across the road from a big park to escape the busy London vibe. The hosts are very responsive and thoughtful. They made our stay which was under difficult circumstances, very easy and we felt truly supported. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely home in a quiet neighborhood, was a perfect place for the small group i was traveling with to rest between work days. Definitely recommended.

Maggie’s place was fantastic—the perfect place for exploring Borough Market and beyond! The apartment was very clean and tidy. It was also beautifully decorated and such a relaxing place to unwind after our busy day out. The hot tub was a massive bonus—talk about luxury! Responses from the host(s) were prompt, friendly, and informative, answering any and all of my questions. We truly appreciated the effort Maggie & co put in to making our stay comfortable. My sister and I stayed here for a week. The house was lovely and such a quaint place tucked in Balham. The train station was an easy walk and many very good restaurants within walking distance as-well. Ellie was very easy to get in contact with and responsive if we needed anything. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in London to stay.

Will was so nice and available. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet and organised. Will gave us snacks and bottles on the check in, something we didn’t get on other places. The only problem was the area that we didn’t like so mach. Also if you’re planning to stay for then few nights and wash your clothes it will be problematic because there is no washing machine. Other than that everything was wonderful!!!

We had an amazing stay in Balham. Nicholas was a great host who quickly responded to any questions, even the annoying touristy ones, and provided very clear instructions. The home is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Spending a week in this home was a delight. It is a quick walk from Balham Station, and there are plenty of wonderful restaurants in town. We were only a 20-30 minute underground train ride from everything we wanted to see and do in London. It is absolutely a great place to stay. You will not be disappointed.

James is a host everyone would wish for. He was always very responsive to any requests and he was also very friendly. His apartment had everything we needed and it really felt like home. The double travel cot that was available for my twins was just great as it made sleeping in the room feel like we were just in our own home. The apartment was sparkling on arrival and the kids loved it. Thanks for making our stay worthwhile. It is well appreciated. I highly recommend this place and will definitely consider it again in our next visit.

We had a wonderful time in London at Trish’s place! Her home was very well decorated and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Trish was very responsive and helpful every step of the way. We loved the backyard garden space as well. It was very easy to get to all the main attractions and neighborhoods via public transit as there are main bus stops and metro stations a quick walk away. Would highly recommend!

Our first visit to London, and the UK, and the flat worked well for us. It was a very quiet neighborhood, and easily accessed by public transportation, so we could come and go throughout our the day as we explored the city. The flat was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Additionally, Matthew is a great host. Quick response to any questions and very accommodating.

I absolutely loved this location. It was a beautiful space with incredible views of London. Close walk to the underground to take you to central London.

A convenient location. The description matches. Nearby there is a park, shops, pubs, metro and bus stops. The apartment is clean and warm. Kitchen is equipped with all the needed amenities. The hostess is friendly and always in touch.

Very nice apartment in London!

Laura and Ralph's flat is lovely and one of the nicest Airbnb's we have ever stayed in (we travel a fair amount). They have thought of everything to make guests comfortable-the kitchen was well stocked with anything you need. A nice touch was the bottle of wine, milk, coffee, juice, bread and jam left for us to get us started after a very long flight from the US. We are not typical tourists-we lived in London for 10 years and came to see our daughters who live nearby and other family and friends. It was incredibly convenient to get around by bus and tube and always nice to come home after a busy day out in London! And I discovered a fab view of The Shard at night from the balcony!

This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too. Thank you, Diana, for such a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon!

Easy walkup, very peaceful and secure, Max was communicative before, during and after our visit. Lovely place.

Fantastic location. Close to the very cosmopolitan Brixton market. Very easy walk to the tube, trains and buses. We bought Oyster cards at the tube station which made travel around Greater London seriously easy and efficient. The accommodation had everything we needed plus more. Heaps of books to read of that is your inclination - I found the range fascinating. The patio is a nice area to chill on those nice warm London afternoons. Shall stay here again when we return to London.
