The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. This slightly elevated site offers amazing panoramic views of the Wicklow Mountains to one side and Blessington to the other. Both sunrise and sunsets over the lake must be seen to be believed.
