Amazing Lalibela Home with best view

My stay in Seyfu’s place was astonishing. It was beyond my expectations. The house is beautiful, clean, and peaceful, which is near to the breathtaking Lalibela’s rock-hewn churches – just a walking distance and no need to take a transport. Seyfu was not only an exceptional host but also an incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated guide in Lalibela. His passion for Lalibela’s history and culture shone through his detailed explanation. Further, his family were also lovely, which made my stay so special – for sure, I would do it again. Thanks very much for your outstanding hospitality and guidance, and I hope to see you again soon!

Dessiew is a phenomenal host he is happy to organise as much or as little as you require. Breakfast is superb and it’s a great place to meet other travellers. The WiFi is good as is the hot water. The homestay is a walk out of town which is fun during the day and easy by tuktuk at night. He sorted airport shuttle for us and his place is a 2 minute walk from the bus station if that’s how you arrive/depart. He’s planning a garden and a roof terrace - we’ll be back!

Birhan speaks good English, is friendly and helpful and knows many of the official guides to the churches of Lalibella.
A spacious bed is neatly arranged with white linens and decorative throw pillows. A towel is creatively folded into a swan shape on the bed. Natural light floods the room through a large window, with a view of the surrounding landscape.
